True, that is possible--however, just deleting a text does not remove the history of activity and meta data that is on the phone.

There is usually a history of activity on a phone even if a text is deleted. Deleted messages may still exist in backups or be retrievable through forensic tools, and carriers often retain metadata about the messages for a limited time.

I'm referencing the Officer Tatum video in my OP. He showed the video of her tying her shoes.

Where did he get the video? Not worth anymore. It was dismissed, there is meta data that could be presented as evidence. It isn't clear if that was offered resulting in the dismissal or not, but I think justice was served. As much as I like Tatum, I think Tatum was wrong on this one.

Okay that's what I thought. Anyways it's neither here nor there since the case was dismissed anyways. I just wanted to see who all agreed with Tatum. I can't say one way or the other but if her right hand (nub) is actually somewhat functional what all exactly can she do with it?

Honestly though common sense would be that she would use her right to steady the steering wheel.... while she held the phone in her "more functioning" left hand.

I can drive with either hand but people generally use their dominant hand. Since that is usually a person's right hand, if she was right-handed, I imagine she trained herself to drive more and rely on her left hand for better control, so it makes sense that she might place the call with her left hand, then use her right to hold and talk while steering with the left.
