I already posted this in my original news thread but I thought that this deserved to have its own thread so that everybody could see it. What do you think? Does it sound like she was lying to you guys? The fact that she can in fact use her right hand although its not fully formed makes me believe that The Officer Tatum is right. Plus she apparently deleted the evidence of the fact that she can use her right hand and it's not defective.

Sorry April--I normally agree with Tatum, but I think he got it wrong this time. LOL, I have two hands and I can't manipulate my phone with my big fingers let alone with a nub the size of a small fist.

/----/ Good point. After all, you can post on USMB without a functioning brain.

It's a possibility. I mean, OK, so she hasn't a formed hand to hold things----

I mean, democrats have fully-formed heads too but still can't reason past that of a 12 year old. So it stands to reason that the opposite is also possible, that she CAN hold a phone despite not having a hand.

Me personally or in general? I think that you mean in general so that's what I'm going to assume.

She was shown that she can tie her shoes but I will give her the benefit of the doubt that she still might not be able to hold things.

Hell- I'm one of the few I know that doesn't lie to get out of a ticket. It's pretty common.

I think she had a phone in her hand.

Why would a guy even touch the subject? He wasn't riding in the car was he?

This is why cops and many in the security apparatus are viewed as cult members. It is the same with the knee to George Floyds neck. 'Well you know he died from ODing on drugs". Right, it all just came together right at that exact moment. He was probably stoned often but never died.

The guy is telling the cop he can't breath, he is handcuffed and is being kneed on. If you make excuses for this type of behaviour you are deranged as far as I am concerned. Sure you can say there may have been some extraneous circumstances, but when he says "I can't breathe", perhaps he is telling the truth and you should stop kneeling on his neck.

Some of these guys are just psychos and they walk among us. If she shows a stub on her arm, unless you have video evidence to suggest otherwise just move along ffs. Perhaps she was doing something wizardry but if he is only speculating he illustrates his bias.

Well I don't even drive, but yeah I'm still not one hundred percent certain about her, it just looks pretty fishy to me is all. Since she can tie her shoes using both hands and deleting the video evidence of it afterwards.

There's no evidence because she deleted it.

Most folks that text while driving are doing so one handed---texting with the thumb on the hand that holds the phone. Was she holding the phone with the nub, texting with her other hand and driving with her knees---and then somehow deleted everything while she was pulling over? I suppose it is possible but it is a real stretch.

She shot a video of her tying her shoes with her nub and left hand before the incident and posted it to her social media page (Instagram I think? 🤔) and then deleted it after the incident from what I gathered.

The cop car doesn't have a dash cam?

Kneeling and tying a shoe (just holding a lace in a fold of skin) is a far cry from holding a phone, texting with the other hand, steering with knees while being pulled over and deleting whatever she was texting all in the time it takes to pull the car to the curb. Too much of a stretch for me. I think the officer was wrong in this case. I would be interested in what the court outcome is---if I was on her jury, she'd walk.

I think Tatum is saying she deleted stuff later because her videos showed she is able to manipulate objects with her nub.

She wasn't deleting anything when she was on the traffic stop to my knowledge and it was already dismissed anyways so...

Thank you!! She deleted those videos of her maniuplating objects though. That's what Tatum was saying.

True, that is possible--however, just deleting a text does not remove the history of activity and meta data that is on the phone.

There is usually a history of activity on a phone even if a text is deleted. Deleted messages may still exist in backups or be retrievable through forensic tools, and carriers often retain metadata about the messages for a limited time.

There weren't messages that she deleted. She deleted video evidence of her being able to manipulate objects with her nub.

I'm glad to hear that it was dismissed. I still maintain the officer was wrong and should have just laughed it off and said, "Have a nice day." There are ways to tell if what you suggest actually happened according to this AI.

What she can do with her nub is really irrelevant--BTW, how did you get those videos if they were deleted--also there is a history of activity that she can't delete. We can continue to discuss this dismissed case all day. I think the court got it right---for a change.

Sounds like it's hard to prove someone is entering text on phone while driving since just holding phone isn't a violation.

I'm referencing the Officer Tatum video in my OP. He showed the video of her tying her shoes.
