Zone1 The Second Coming of Christ

No, Jesus is referring to the future Kingdom of God where Jesus Christ will be set up as King over Israel and Ruler over the world in Righteousness.
No, you are just wrong. There has never been a time when the kingdom of God has not been in power over the lives and minds of the inhabitants of the Earth.

When Jesus said there are some standing around who will not taste of death until they see the kingdom of God in power he was saying that there were some who would not die until they saw that God was already in control of everything just like Nebuchadnezzar saw the kingdom of God in power after living like a beast for seven years without enough sense to either look up or get out of the rain

My, oh my. That will be 'hell'...won't it?
I hate to break the news to you, but ever since the first day you got down on your knees in the deranged adoration of a Trinity in the form of a cracker made by human hands, that you worship and eat for spiritual life, you died and descended into Gahanna, hell, the realm of the dead Where you have been tormented day and by reality, which contradicts your delusional and irrational beliefs every day at night like a consuming fire that will never go out.

But it is so nice to hear how much you look forward to other people burning in hell.

What a guy!

You literally just contradicted yourself.
And some people don’t believe they are subject to the death consequent to idolatry because they commit idolatry.

Fascinating!

This is in response to @PoliticalChics question concerning the Second Coming of Christ. It is quite extensive and will also involve the promise of God to Israel concerning the Millennial Reign of Christ, the future Kingdom to come.

It is important to note that if Christ does not return, then the promises of the Kingdom to Israel will not be fulfilled. This is the Kingdom Christ instructed them to pray for. (Matt. 6:9-10) "After this manner therefore pray ye: our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth as it is in heaven."

This is the Kingdom that Christ came to set up at His First Coming. (Matt. 3:1-2) "In those days came John the Baptist, preaching in the wilderness of Judaea, And saying, Repent ye: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand. See also, (Matt. 4:17) (Matt. 10:5-7)

But Israel rejected Jesus Christ as her King, and instead crucified Him. Thus the Kingdom did not come. See (Matt. 12: 24-32) (Matt. 21:42-43)

After Christs resurrection and as He was leaving to ascend to the Father, his disciples asked Him, "...Lord, wilt thou at this time restore again the kingdom to Israel? (Acts 1:6) To which Jesus replied, "...It is not for you to know the times or the seasons, which the Father hath put in his own power."

Christ was saying here that as to the time of the restoration of the Kingdom to Israel, they could not know. But that there would be a restoration of the Kingdom to Israel is sure. (Acts 1:11) "...Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven."

Thus you have the necessity for the return of Christ, the King of Israel, in order to set up the Kingdom as promised. The Second Coming of Christ.

There is no second coming there was no first coming its all BS

No. Scripture is clear, "Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven" Once the Kingdom comes and Christ rules and reigns in Jerusalem over the world, then 'as it is in heaven' will be done. Not before.

And the God/Man, Jesus Christ will rule with a rod of iron.

No, you're a liar and a phony. You try and use the Bible but don't believe the Bible. You just make up shit as you go. Is the Bible the only written Word of God? Is Jesus Christ the only Son of God and Saviour? Answer these questions.

You don't bring any news. You just present your perversion of the Bible.

People in hell don't want to be heaven. They are in the place they should be. Might think about that when that big angel reaches down and grabs you by the short hairs and tosses you like a rag doll.

So, no one says. It's just your gums flapping and your brain disengaged. You're like those old garbage cans with a foot pedal. When you step in the pedal the lid pops up and garbage goes in. Except with you, when I step on the pedal your lid pops up and garbage comes out.

And then you have nothing to back it up. Typical unbeliever.

According to your logic that is God's doing because you said, "there has never been a time when the kingdom of God has not been in power over the lives and minds of the inhabitants of the Earth."

Read your own post with insight and some intelligence
No. You re-read it. You are confused over who said what.

And it's a good thing I am Christian because otherwise I'd break it off in your ass for the way you are addressing me. Especially since you are in error about who said what.

I couldn't be happier for you to believe that. So when was the Jewish prophecy of the messiah fulfilled?

"this generation will not pass until all these things take place"
Your fake messiah isnt coming back.
This is true. So, the Christian Jews believed he came in a cloud, as John of Patmos relayed. As their Lord had historically come in clouds, as against Egypt (Is 19:1) and Nineveh (1:3), he came likewise against Judea.

Of course, history doesn't record their Christ coming in clouds against Judea, so whether you believe it or not is irrelevant. They believed it, and they had every right to. It was their narrative and belief system.
