100 Scots reveal why they left their home country behind

Why don't you tell us why 100 Scots left home for Detroit. I am too lazy and ignorant to read more than a few tweet size sentences. deplorable yet?

The Brits treated the Scots pretty much the same way the treated the Irish during the 19th century. They evicted them off their own land and left them to starve and die in ditches.
