Why is it ok for a kid to leave high school thinking the Holocaust didnt happen? Holy shit. Because it isnt the truth.
I am asking you why you are afraid of that. It's just a stupid kid. Many of them leave high school believing all sorts of bullshit.
Then, life happens and they grow up.
But you are so completely TERRIFIED that someone will believe something that is false that you want the ability to TAKE AWAY THE OPPORTUNITY TO CHOOSE WHAT TO BELIEVE. You are the ultimate tyrant.
The truth is the truth and it is always out there. One has to prove it though as truth. The one who proves the truth decides the truth.
You left something out that is very important. Who gets to decide what is the truth? See above.
Yes if one can critically think, they would know there is no election fraud, right?
Why? Because you said so? Because CNN said so before anybody even looked into anything?
Who gets to decide what is true? You will never answer that question because I don't think you know.
The Holocaust could easily be brought up in relation to Charlottesville, a current event.
How? That was a fight over a statue. It has nothing to do with the Holocaust save some media narrative (stated without evidence) that some of the protesters hate Jews
I honestly believe that the statue was a red herring for the REAL target in Charlottesville--Thomas Jefferson.
The left hate hate Jefferson because they hate freedom.
Or, hitting more close to home, the 2020 election could be brought up. The teachers would have to allow the conspiracy theorists in the class to have free reign.
This is the real issue, isn't it? You're afraid that teachers will be required to talk about perspectives you fear.
What about Russia, Russia, Russia? Will teachers be required to present alternative perspectives on that line of complete and utter bullshit? I hope so.
Who gets to decide what is truth? Who gets to decide what is conspiracy theory? Who gets to control the discussion?
You are afraid to let individuals decide for themselves. You are afraid of freedom of thought and freedom of speech. Admit it.
