It is done in every class. One can discuss history and pose questions to students such as what did the alliance of the US, Soviet Union and UK do to stop the Axis powers but also how it led to the Cold War. There can be discussions on how England declared war because taking over Poland was the last straw but then in the end they had to give Poland to the Soviet Union and Stalin. Why? This is what kids should discuss and theorize.

ou do teach facts as facts. IOW, a Holocaust denier may say that only a few thousand Jews died in WWII, no more than would be expected as casualties in a war. A teacher could make that statement, then show documented evidence that millions died, thus exposing the claim as false. IOW, you teach that there are those who claim something didn't happen, then you show the evidence that it did.

Why give them air? If kids were taught basic logic and critical thinking in a philosophy class, there wouldnt be a need for that. And last time I checked history class was for teaching what did happen, not teaching what didnt happen.

Holocaust is used in the Duoay Biblle in Leviticus 1. It is a burnt offering of your own sheep, not the sheep of your enemy.
