I think its a tremendous religious idea,especially in the RCC which has a lot of data and a shortage of staff right now.
AI priests could provide tremendous accuracy in sermons as well as in leading the prayers and performing the required rituals, equity in penances, etc.
It would also resolve once and for good, the sex scandals as well as the shortage of new priests.
Since the cyberpriests would be programmed to show perfect reverence, I can't see any objections to the idea.
