People immigrate because they want what your country if offering. They're leaving a place they want to LEAVE. They have no interest in recreating it where they are going.

I declined multiple opportunities to move to the USA because I didn't want to live in a country without universal health care, and I didn't want to leave my friends and family. I had a good job, and happy life where I was and no interest in leaving.

People who want to leave their home country, don't have a good life there, or they don't have the opportunities or the life they wanted.

I realize that this is the law, but that's not what you said, and it conflicts directly with what you said.

It also conflicts with what Trump wants, which is if the wife of an American is an illegal immigrant, her child cannot be a citizen, even if the child is born in the USA, because the mother is an illegal.
