Whenever the price of this or that item goes up because of Trump's tariffs, pro-globalist "free trade" media outlets trumpet the news. Where were those news outlets over the last 20 years when China and the EU jacked up tariffs and other trade barriers? And those same news outlets haven't had much to say about the positive impacts of Trump's tariffs and tax cuts, such as the opening or re-opening of steel and other manufacturing plants and the record-breaking increase we have seen in manufacturing jobs (three of the four biggest hikes in manufacturing jobs in the last 15 years have occurred under Trump).

We shall see. The tariff game can be tricky .

Why is it that tariffs are good, but min wage increases are bad?

Because improving the lives of the poor or the working class is antithetic to the conservative sheep herders. They have the sheep convinced to vote and act against their own best interests. And the sheep brayyyy with enthusiasm whenever they're told to do so.

When I worked in sales, for two weeks, there was an item in a package and I asked how much the item was. They said "It's 25% cheaper than other companies'" I was like, so how much is that "It's 25% cheaper than other companies'" "Which is how much?" "It's 25% cheaper than other companies'"

I've not seen a single person on this forum show evidence of tariffs by other countries compared to tariffs by the US. Not now in Trump's era, nor in any other era.

It's just sales talk. "China put these tariffs" "The EU did this" but no one, not a single person, has actually shown what it really is.

Yeah they have some weird thing about other people getting ahead, it's like all Republicans see someone else getting any kind of raise and they feel left out or less than because of it. Pathological .
