A dozen of America’s most prominent mainstream media outlets have published an open letter urging Joe Biden and Donald Trump to agree to debate before the 2024 election.

A dozen of America’s most prominent mainstream media outlets have published an open letter urging Joe Biden and Donald Trump to agree to debate before the 2024 election. ​

Letter signatories included ABC News, The Associated Press, CBS News, CNN, C-SPAN, Fox News, NBC News, NewsNation, Univision, NPR, PBS NewsHour and USA Today.
The letter calls on the two leading candidates “to publicly commit to participating in general election debates before November’s election.”

The organizations argued that debates have “played a vital role in every presidential election of the past 50 years, dating to 1976.”


Commentary:
Democrats know that Biden’s horrific performance would be worse than incurring the universal displeasure of the media .
I think it would be absolutely hilarious if they would debate!!!
You just know stumbling, mumbling, bumbling Joe is going to blow it BIG TIME!
His handlers will never let it happen!
There is to much to risk with Joe debating ANYONE much less President Trump!
You just know the DNC press will come to Joe's aid when he starts crashing and burning on nationwide television!
They know that Chris Wallace won't be around to screen for Biden's whoopers.
At Trump’s Pennsylvania rally a couple of days ago he had a sign “ANY TIME. ANY WHERE. ANY PLACE.”
In your face, Joe!
Just look at the 2020, they would let Biden ramble on and Chris Wallace would attack Trump and debate him and Biden never did. Then whenever Trump’s turn would come they would go to the news room and you’d never hear him say anything, just get out of context quotes later. Did the exact same thing in 2016, ask a question, Hillary answers, Trump starts to respond, cuts to the news room to talk about what Hillary just said and then misquote Trump afterwards.
Perhaps someone shuld tell the biased and Quisling Media that Trump has already offered to debate Biden.

There may be no more presidential debates in 2024, but will it make much difference?
