75% may be an underestimation if you are any example (just kidding of course):

The left wing aren't the ones talking about it. It's the right wingers talking about it...every election cycle. Now, unless they have control of both the House and Senate with veto override majority, it won't go anywhere. But there are Republicans who want to privatize it....which would be a complete disaster.
You mean like Al Gore did in 2000 with his Lock Box Theory.
Don't ever forget that for 40 years prior to the GOP's 1994
Takeover of the House with Newt Gingrich ,the Democrats ran
roughshod with their hyper spending.Including never auditing
Social Security.Newt Gingrich and his New class of Freshman House
membesr wasted no time in managing to Balance 4 consecutive budgets.
Double keep in mind that when a Budget did get balanced and their
was a surplus it dint last as long as it takes ink to dry.

Does the left bring this up every time we have an election?
Maybe because the Right brings it up in every interim between elections?
If republicans win, they will put a stop to social security and the other benefits seniors have a right to
They think to do it incrementally so that the lemmings and peasants and plebs don't object too much and keep votin' for 'em it until it's too late.
And what does congress have to do with Social Security matters anyway?
Congress holds the purse strings for all things Federal.
It's as the left thinks that over 75% us have an I.Q. lower than the average turkey or gerbil.
The party that fell for the con-job served-up by their Orange Comb-Over Albatross? The party he suckered into January 6 2021? Hmmmmm...

Biden is working harder than anyone ever has to end Social Security....

"Beginning in January, the average retiree will receive $1,827 in monthly Social Security benefits after the cost-of-living adjustment. That figure marks an increase of $146 per month compared to the old average of $1,681 in 2022." [Link]

He increases SS by $146 per month, but his inflation is increasing costs by $400 per month.

That $146.00 a month won't even cover my grocery bill increase.

I said if Republicans won they would ban abortion. They're moving that way aren't they? I was right about that.

And we all know Republicans would love to end social security. I've been hearing for 40 plus years from Republicans, "don't count on your social security being there when you retire". What did they mean by that?

Tens of millions of older Americans are getting the biggest raise of their lifetimes.

8.7% increase in monthly payments this upcoming year, the largest increase in four decades.

First of all Ray, you want to end social security. Or phase it out. You'd be okay with 20% cut to your benefits, right?

So quit crying you ONLY got $146 more a month. That's $1500 a year. Imagine if Republicans win and cut your social security 20%. Then what will you eat with stupid?

Crazy that you are complaining about 8.7% raise to your benefits but you'll bend over and take it if they cut your benefits. You sure are loyal.

Silly bo bo
The inflation from your “President” is at record levels and the increase matched that. It’s not a “get ahead” it is an avoid falling behind.

Technically there is no money now for Social Security. Technically there is no money to keep the government going ... if you consider the fact that we are trillions in debt ... meaning we wod have to pay trillions of dollars just to be 'broke'.

Why do you think our educational system sucks so bad?

The democrats are determined to graduate children who have been taught what to think not how to think.

The democrats love the Mushroom Theory of Management And are trying to apply it to voters.

The liberals media keeps the voters in the dark and the democrats feed the voters bullshit.

Technically there is money for SS even after 2034. Recipients would get about 70% of promised/earned benefits.

Settled law does not mean un-changable law.

When asked whether the right to abortion was “settled law,” Alito said that Roe is “an important precedent of the Supreme Court.” When pushed to elaborate, Alito replied: “If settled means that it can’t be re-examined, then that’s one thing,” but added that “settled’ simply means “that it is a precedent that is entitled to respect” — implying that Roe is precedent that can be re-examined.

That’s double speak. Trying to have it both ways at once.

Just like with Social Security and Medicare

The reason liberals hate SS and Medicare is because disciplined people had the foresight and responsibility to commit their money to it
Liberals find discipline, foresight and responsibility as racist and supremacy
