Republicans had the opportunity to stop men from competing with women in sports in Maine,m. But I don’t know why, they are so unpopular that they felt compelled to cheat in order to get the signatures and then got caught. Counting the valid signatures only they didn’t make it.
People signing the petition multiple times. Unregistered voters signing. Circulators swearing under oath they witnessed signatures they clearly never watched … one was literally filming a Christmas parade while petition sheets were being passed around in the crowd. That’s not sloppiness. That’s fraud. Twelve thousand signatures were thrown out because of this garbage, and they STILL tried to defend it in court.
And they go around, whining about fraud elsewhere. Turns out it was projection.
