America, It’s Time to Pick a Side—And We Conservatives Can Help

No one can sit on the sidelines in this election, but you, as a conservative, have some tools in your box to help bring out pro-American votes.
2 May 2026 ~~ By Jack Gleason

We hear it every election cycle—“this is the most important election in our lifetimes.” In the past, the different sides of the aisle would fuss and fight, but eventually come to a compromise. With the ultra-polarization of today’s Democrat party, compromise is not an option—they either win the election and burn down the country, or lose the election and burn down the country.
In mid-term elections, there are always predictions of “red tides” or “blue tsunamis.” But a recent Harvard poll found that the two parties are tied 50-50 on the congressional ballot, with voter engagement for Republicans even showing a slight edge.
On Wednesday, the Supreme Court declared Louisiana’s newly drawn Congressional map an unconstitutional gerrymander, which means Republicans could make immediate changes and gain dozens of House seats in November.
So, yes, the November election may be the most important in our lifetimes. It’s a choice between the Democrat insanity of hating everything America, versus Trump’s master plan to take the world from the brink of globalist domination to 50-100 years of peace and prosperity.
Despite the promising polls, it’s still all about generating enough turnout so the margin of victory can overcome the inevitable fraud.
I meet many people from all walks of life. When I can start a gentle conversation about the state of our country, I’ve identified three distinct groups—die-hard conservatives, lifelong liberals, and the rest who have been so bombarded with lies and confusion that they “just don’t get into politics.”
~Snip~
Many of the old-schoolers now see the Democrat party on the wrong side of every 80/20 or 90/10 issue, whether it’s secretly transgendered school children, men in women’s sports and bathrooms, abortion until birth, wide open borders, unimpeded crime in every Democrat-run city, etc. They don’t tell their friends, but many vote conservative in local, state, and national elections, while others stay at home.
The remaining radicalized Democrats have succumbed to the organized plan to put them into a never-ending emotional frenzy of fear and hatred. When exposed to anything conservative, they immediately “see red” and their rational minds implode.
You can clearly see this whenever there is a new “crisis”:
  • A drug user and petty thief dies while being restrained by police
  • ICE arrests an illegal alien, and they see a photo of a small child next to a police car
  • An “innocent protester” is shot while running down an ICE agent with her SUV
Clips and interviews are purposely edited to present the approved narrative. Cultural sources like late-night talk shows and celebrity opinions are slanted 95% liberal. Their case is presented so emphatically that no one could believe they are lying on purpose—until the truth comes out and the story abruptly ends, only to be replaced immediately with the next outrage.
In each case, the media was the change agent driving this transformation across the three camps, whether left, right, or “not interested.” The media has gone from reporting the news and letting viewers decide, to showing only the “most important aspects” of a story, to actively manipulating the images and “facts” to move public opinion to the “correct conclusion.”

How come almost every close election or long ballot count ends up with a Democrat winning? Don’t you want your vote to be counted honestly?
The problem doesn’t rest only with rabid TDS Democrats. RINOs are in charge in the Senate, and Thune refuses to fix our elections.
We can hope that current fraud and election investigations will bear fruit and put intense pressure on cleaning things up, which would be very easy to do.
We all hear about the importance of social media. But the real social media is doing what I do: talking in person with a wide range of well-intentioned people and encouraging them to think for themselves, pick a side, demand honest elections, and end outside interference.

Commentary:
If Americans don’t vote, shame on them! They will get the progressive policies of a person like George Soros whose ideology is to ruin America. What the hell is wrong with these people—are they just stupid? YES!!
The average turnout for a mid-term’s election is about 40% of registered voters. So, I would say the “just don’t get into politics.” have the rest of us outnumbered by a lot.
On the Democrat side, there are not many “old schoolers” today. They implemented big govt programs such as Medicare, Medicaid, welfare, etc., to help the little guy (a good cause). Of course, they used those programs politically to win future elections and still do. Maybe they never realized they became socialists.
Now TDS has opened the door for massive indoctrination of Marxist and Communist ideology funded internationally by China, Russia, Soros, Singham, and many others. We are at a crossroads. The next two elections are literally do or die.
On either side of the aisle, there are darn few politicians that, once elected, leave office and go back to making a living in the private sector (other than lobbying, think tanking, and related) or be a “present” parent.
I voted Democrat many decades ago. Never Again.

Recycled arguments that gave us turds like Mike Johnsonless and Lurch Thune....And jackasses like Trump, who has gone back on his highest profile promises.

"We suck less" doesn't cut it.

Most of America has taken a side, and they do not want your fascism.

  • A drug user and petty thief dies while being restrained by police
  • ICE arrests an illegal alien, and they see a photo of a small child next to a police car
  • An “innocent protester” is shot while running down an ICE agent with her SUV
These are lies. You guys elected a convicted felon to be the president. That DID happen. This is why you side is going down. You guys are trying to cheat, but I don't think that going to top what will happen. It will either be done by the ballot, or if the right tries strongarming to stop the will of the people....

Nice rant, but in end this is all our fault. Back in the day, like the damn 19th century, newspaper printed legislation, as it was presented to Congress. People read it, discussed it, provided feedback through this ancient system called the mail service. Now our representatives don't even read the legislation. And that is our fault. We don't hold them responsible. Sadly, the turnover rate of Congress is lower than that of the Russian Politburo.

In another thread a Republican Congressman alluded to the fact the Republican leadership was consistently pushing stuff down their throat. That is just wrong. As a Congressional representative, you don't play party games. For you don't vote for what is best the party, you don't even vote for what is best for the country. That is beyond your pay grade. You vote for what is best for your district, your constituents. It is your one, and dammit, only job. You have a Senator to look out for National interest.

We lost it. But dammit, they didn't hold anything back. They divided us. I think this goes back more than forty years. First they created the very environment where they could take control. And then they slyly move in for the ultimate score. I mean when you look at it, it was insidious. We seriously got blindsided. We best get off the mat and come back roaring.

And yes, this is a pivotal election, maybe historical, it might be our last chance. But it is not at the national level, it is not about control of the House, the Senate. No, it starts, and brutally ends, at the local level. State representatives, that is where it is at. Have you seen what they get paid? They are in it for the per diem, the perks. Are they not like fish in the barrel to the grifters, the rent seekers? It is a recipe for disaster.

We got to fix it, and the only way. In the establishment face, we can't beat them from the outside, we got to get inside. In the clutch, banging it out, bringing it. From their wheelhouse, take it to them. And it really is not a party thing. It is a nation thing. For make no doubt, we don't clear this hurdle we have lost that Republic.
