Netanyahu is now intensifying attacks in Lebanon and will not stop until his last day in office. Israel is a war economy, like Russia.

Not very optimistic about Israel's next leadership either:

Madmen of the IRGC will retaliate attacking ships in Hormuz and collecting tolls after the alleged reopening. And we can stay like this for years.

The Bab el-Mandeb strait crisis near Yemen (which is crushing trade between Europe and Asia) was "temporary" too and we have it for almost 3 years now.

Netanyahu doesn't give a single **** if his actions produce more famine and severe shortages in Africa and parts of Asia and a global economic crisis.

Simple way to end all of that, simply defund Hezbollah, pull them out of Lebanon, and end the attacks on Israel.

Iran funds Hezbollah and the issue apparently is not on the negotiation table. Lebanon can't do it.

Yes, Iran funds Hezbollah, but it behooves Lebanon to deport Hezbollah. Deport them, disarm them, deal with them--- is it Lebanon's country or not? Are they there willingly or not?

This all goes to show just how big a mess Trump has got us into. The only thing good that will come out of this is any plausible Iran deal will be a humiliation for Trump.

Give the Boot to Beirut

Lebanon is a weak and cowardly doormat and should be partitioned between Israel and Syria. The pampered draft-age sons of the ruling class ran away to Paris while their country was being overrun. The transnationalist RichKid Reichs are all like that and should easily be leveled (like the Levantines).

A deal was reached in October but the Gaza crisis is not over. This time it will be worse.

One could argue that no deal needs to be made, just leave, just as the US did last year.
