That is less than 20% of those that go through the legal process.

As such, your article loses much of its value given that what I have suggested will keep the costs lower than what the article stated and even more keep the costs down to the additional costs that Trump's anger and incompetence have brought upon us.

No, that is mostly untrue. Yes, they do make extra money using illegal immigrants but Trump (in an effort to help them) has taken away the government agencies that keep in control the abuses in price that they use. We no longer have any entities that can keep them in check, meaning that they will do everything they can to screw you and get away with it.

Perfect example of this is Trump himself that religiously states "buy American" but then he buys most of his products overseas and sells them to you at highly elevated prices, such as the Trump Bible that he buys from China for $3 and sells it here for $60. No one can control or stop them on that.
