Virginia Democrats won a narrow victory that could turn into a black eye for the party.

In a clip posted to the social media platform X, former Democratic strategist Dan Turrentine reported that leading Democrats in the Old Dominion believe their redistricting plan, approved by voters last month, will not survive in court.

Democratic Gov. Abigail Spanberger's office doubted the legality of Democrats' redistricting plan. But Democrats in the General Assembly went forward with it anyway.

I figured it was in trouble with the VASC when they allowed the Tazwell Judge's stay of certification stand till they decided the case.

Hope springs eternal.

That would be fabulous and hilarious, just earlier, I saw a prediction that if all goes well down south with Tennessee, Louisiana and a few other states, things could really swing well onto the GOP's side. And that doesn't even include if Va falls through.

BTW, on another vein, I lost track of the King and Queen's travels outside of NYC, did King Charles ever make it down to your area like you thought he might?
