There's no real rules when it comes to this current conservative Supreme Court.

On one hand, the conservatives will stop a decision in December 2025 because it was too close to the November 2026 midterms.

On the other hand, the conservatives will rush through a decision on the VRA while voters are actually voting in primaries so that the states have just enough time to redraw districts 6 months after saying it was too late to make decisions before the elections.

The conservatives don't even try to look like they're trying to be consistent anymore.

Oh, and they act all outraged when they're called out on their bullshit.
