More winning - over 3 million off food stamps under Trump

I am glad more people are off SNAP. I would expect you to cheer former President Obama as well for having the largest number of people get off SNAP at 4.6 million.

Why would we cheer for people getting ON food stamps? More people got ON food stamps under Obama than any other president.
Gee, you don't suppose the Great Bush Recession that he inherited had anything to do with it, do you?

Oh yes blame it on Bush!! If it's good under Obama, it's Obama. If it's ugly, it's Bush. Personal responsibility never was a liberal strongpoint was it?

So to answer your question, no. Obama was the food stamp president and ALWAYS WILL BE.

SUCK IT UP BUTTERCUP.
No, Bush owns the title of Food Stamp President to go along with his title of The Great BUSH Recession.
There would be no trump if there was no obama, slowly trump is reversing Obama’s socialism... thankfully

The big rise in the food stamp population came in the beginning of the recession that Obama inherited. From that point forward it declined.

Outright lie.

Food stamps went up the first 6 years of Obama's presidency. It went from 30 million to 47 million in just a few years. Mindboggling how bad he really was. If the economy was doing so well under Obama, why was everyone jumping on the food stamp bandwagon?

Any time a progressive starts citing statistics using terms like "less" , decreased" and "fewer", your fake radar needs to be deployed. They do the same phony shit discussing the deficit, climate change, crime.....

Everyone and their brother knows Obama will forever be known as The Food Stamp President just like Nixon will be known as Tricky Dick and Clinton, The Great Communicator, FDR, The New Deal President. Those nicknames are earned because that's the consensus public opinion.

Nobody cares about numbers....only the legacy matters. And these guys are stuck with that forever.

FACT CHECK: TRUMP SAYS 3.5 MILLION PEOPLE HAVE BEEN LIFTED OFF FOOD STAMPS

President Donald Trump said in remarks at the White House recently that 3.5 million Americans have been lifted off food stamps.

Verdict: True

The number of people receiving Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) benefits declined by 3.6 million since Trump was elected president and 3.1 million since he assumed office.

Fact Check:

Trump mentioned the decline in food stamp recipients, along with a number of other statistics that highlighted the health of the economy, after the Bureau of Economic Analysis announced that gross domestic product grew an estimated 4.1 percent in the second quarter of 2018.

And yet the state of Oregon continues to increase the number of foodstamp workers...

They just posted an ad for 9 new workers in Tillamook.

In case you don't know, Tillamook is a small town. That number is in addition to the workers they already hire...and which are sufficient to the decreasing demand. A town of 5100 doesn't need 13 foodstamp workers.

So why are they doing it?

Good question.

The county has 25,000+ people. How many counties does that office in Tillamook serve?

SNAP benefits cost $70.9 billion in fiscal year 2016 and supplied roughly 44.2 million Americans (14% of the population)[2] with an average of $125.51 for each person per month in food assistance. Beneficiaries and costs increased sharply with the Great Recession, peaked in 2013 and have declined through 2016 as the economy recovered.[3] It is the largest nutrition program of the 15 administered by FNS and is a component of the federal social safety net for low-income Americans.[4]

Even your own graph shows it was falling after 2013. The Great Recession was the reason it was high to begin with. Wikipedia and your own graph prove that.

OMG! Did you all fall off the watermelon truck all at once, or the one in groups? "U.S. incomes rise and spending increases". Was that before or after all the costs of goods and services went way up? Have you seen the gas prices? What about groceries? There's a special cereal I bought for $4 dollars. Guess what it went up to? 5! Vehicle prices went up because of the tariffs. If incomes are rising, so is the cost of living, and then some. So, which watermelon truck did you fall off of?

Once again, nothing but your idle rambling. Nothing. No better evidence than your personal experience.

I am so happy for those folks who no longer have to depend on my labors to feed them and their family. Nothing like self-sufficiency to boost one's morale.

And the $12 billion dollar socialism bailout?

The very essence of the federal government is corruption

And many are starting to report on the exhilaration of not being dependent

So .5 million fewer were collecting SNAP benefits the last 2 months of Obama's term, ~250,000 per month, and 3.1 million in Donnie Dirtbag's 18 months or 172,000 per month. Loser Tramp falls short of Obama again!
A lot of good things happened as soon as the Donald was elected. Economy started to get better right away knowing the Dems lost. That’s the power of optimism.

There is nothing to be praised about this without information that supports a finding that there is no hunger in the U.S. Otherwise, it's bullshit.
