If you can get it. And it’s about to be harder to get too.So, you're saying that Medicare isn't adequate?
Because in America people have a right to spend the money they earn as they see fitThen why don’t we outlaw all snacks and candy since it’s better for people?
That was the original plan of Obamacare...We see that now.If you can get it. And it’s about to be harder to get too.
And even then, not the way we really need it to be.
Personally, I’d tear down the entire healthcare insurance system and rebuild it because it’s a total nightmare right now.
Why do you care if they make “poor choices”?Because in America people have a right to spend the money they earn as they see fit
We can advise people to eat healthy, lose weight, ect but in a free society they have a right to chooe within reason
People on food stamps do not have the right to spend our money anyway they see fit
SCOTUS torpedoed that part of Obamacare. I remember before the ACA, in a lot of states it was impossible for anyone who wasn’t a child or elderly to get Medicaid. That was the original plan of Obamacare...We see that now.
For the same reason you liberals wanted to go after tobacco...In the end it costs the taxpayer more. Duh.Why do you care if they make “poor choices”?
Don’t these poor choices cost the taxpayer more regardless of whether they’re made with SNAP benefits or their own money? For the same reason you liberals wanted to go after tobacco...In the end it costs the taxpayer more. Duh.
Sure they do, but, in a free country, if I use my own money to purchase products that are bad for me that's on me...Not so, if the purchase is made with taxpayer funds.Don’t these poor choices cost the taxpayer more regardless of whether they’re made with SNAP benefits or their own money?
Sure they do, but, in a free country, if I use my own money to purchase products that are bad for me that's on me...Not so, if the purchase is made with taxpayer funds.
Because those poor choices are expensive to societyWhy do you care if they make “poor choices”?
I guess I just don't get why they seem to pick every unpopular side of every issue...I mean who in the hell would be against eating healthier?Progressive Liberals don't know the difference between your money and their money.
They have difficulty with subjects involving principles and personal responsibility as well and like to suggest whipping out the authoritarian fascism in those circumstances.
They will call you fascists if you don't let them do whatever they want with your money.
Which is a good argument for making all junk food illegal. Right? People who eat junk food become disabled and are expensive to society.Because those poor choices are expensive to society
I see 300 lb women in the grocery store riding the elecyric carts filled with junk food
They are the same women who collect food stamps because they cant work
And the same people on Medicaid
I guess I just don't get why they seem to pick every unpopular side of every issue...I mean who in the hell would be against eating healthier?
This smacks of reflexive posturing to me...I swear, if Trump or his administration wanted to ban guns they would argue that we can't do that, and they've always been in favor of guns....It's dystopian.
But your poor choices are going to cost the taxpayer anyway, regardless of how you paid for them. Right?Sure they do, but, in a free country, if I use my own money to purchase products that are bad for me that's on me...Not so, if the purchase is made with taxpayer funds.
NoWhich is a good argument for making all junk food illegal. Right? People who eat junk food become disabled and are expensive to society.
It doesn’t matter if they used SNAP or their own money.
But it’s expensive to society. Maybe I don’t want my taxpayer money being spent on your poor choices. Isn’t that the idea here?No
Junk food that people buy with their own money should be legal
They could, if I were to continue to make them. But, as I’ve aged, I find my taste has gone away from these types of foods. So, I don’t eat them…But your poor choices are going to cost the taxpayer anyway, regardless of how you paid for them. Right?
That’s true, but you’re arguing exactly for that. But it’s expensive to society. Maybe I don’t want my taxpayer money being spent on your poor choices. Isn’t that the idea here?
Nice tryBut it’s expensive to society. Maybe I don’t want my taxpayer money being spent on your poor choices. Isn’t that the idea here?
