I can't speak for IM2, but a lot of black folks can tell you that harassment by the police is a common thing, from being reported by a Karen for minding your own business to being pulled over for a "Driving While Black".
Now, I can be a little sympathetic to the police... the NRA has worked very hard to flood our streets with guns, and you never know what you might encounter out there. But policing in this country is severely broken and needs to be fixed.
