If the 1st ammendment applies to non citizens, why doesn't the 2nd ammendment?

A naturalized US citizen who was born in Malaysia. This person's BROTHER, who currently lives in Malaysia and is a citizen of Malaysia, applies for a VISA. The snowflake argument is that the brother gets the protection of the 1st amendment of the US Constitution.

Shouldn't that same person get the protection of the 2nd amendment....as well as every other protection provided to AMERICAN citizens by the US Constitution?

Last I knew, undocumented can own guns.

The NRA made of that, as well as giving guns to the mentally ill and known/suspected terrorists.

Maybe. As long as it remains well regulated.

You must have/be
a valid hunting license or permit, admitted for lawful hunting or sporting purposes, certain official representatives of a foreign government, or a foreign law enforcement officer of a friendly foreign government entering the United States on official law enforcement business.
May a nonimmigrant alien who has been admitted to the United States under a nonimmigrant visa possess a firearm or ammunition in the United States? | Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives

I think the person should get the same protections as long as, conversely, restrictions also apply just as they do to Americans not authorized access to weapons for any reason.

North Korean citizens must be very excited about their 2nd and 5th amendment rights!!!

Snowflakes aren't racist against Koreans, right?

That's a very specific sub set of a non citizen. And even they have exceptions when they can have a gun.

Whoa whoa,

A. Your going have to define mental illness in way that'll properly deny people guaranteed rights...

B. Known/ suspected terrorist based on what, a no fly list? A no fly list where you can't face your accuser, you have not be notified that you've been placed on, you do not know your crime, you do not have a trial for, nor are appointed an attorney for your defense, and where you have to prove your innocence to the government, and that government doesn't have to listen to your plea if they don't want to??? A no fly list that SENATOR KENNEDY was placed on and it took the government 6 MONTHS to remove him. A no fly list that actually effects more innocent people who just happen to the have the same name as the people it was meant for? Is that the list that you're referring to deny people constitutionally protected rights?

Lol ok fair enough.
What do other non citizens have to do legally own guns? Provide a hunting license.. :D

And technically they are not protected under the constitution since the 14th amendment defines citizenship, and citizen is defined as a "right to rights" so they're no legal obligation to for the 2nd to non citizens. But it's up to the fed to decide since the fed is in charge of naturalization in the enumerated powers, and I'm honestly not sure what their take is on it.

Some amendments apply to citizens, others apply to persons

The 2nd doesn't specify "citizens " . So a legal green card holder can get a gun . There are only certain parts of the con that use "citizens" in the wording .
