Zone1 habemus papam!

The man who is now Pope Leo XIV was by the way a Peruvian. Peru is totally happy that one of them became Pope.
The new Pope is an American. He is not a Peruvian.

Try to be factually accurate.

What do you say here to me? Why?

because all desert dwellers need help of one kind or another ... think fiction, that will help for you to understand the christian bible and the makebelieve works of christianity.

hopefully the new pope will begin the rewrite of the christian bible to give it some true meaning.

he has both nationalties
You think so? Based on what?

He did missionary work in Peru. Maybe Peru granted him dual citizenship? Doesn’t change the fact that he is an American born and raised U.S. citizen.

i dont just think so ... it is a fact ..... ask google
It’s a fact because you read it somewhere.

I’m not saying it’s not a fact. I simply asked your source. “I read it in a paper or on line” is not exactly a well informed answer.

there is white smoke!
i welcome the new pope!

Color me unimpressed.

It looks like Pope John Paul II will go down as the last real Pope in history.

I would not give feathers for any of the three since and I'm not hearing anything good about this new one neither.

you need not believe me

you need not believe me
I don’t care.

Again, I haven’t denied it, you twit.

I only asked for a source. And your sole source is an article or two where that claim has been made.

Fact is: you don’t really know.

It also doesn’t much matter. So cry somewhere else.

No. The second.
No. Still the first.
Argentinia. You seem not to know that Argentinia is a part of the continent America.

You are unable to spell properly (try “Argentina”) as well as unwilling to think clearly. The American continent is not a nation. You dimwit.

Perhaps. But Zebra read it, somewhere, and therefore it just has to be true.
I think it is referred to as dual citizenship, not dual nationality. I believe his mother was of Mexican descent whereas his dad was Italian and I forget what. He was born in 1955; I believe it was around 1982 when he began his missionary work in Peru. After some time, he became a nationalized citizen of Peru.

Maybe. According to what source. See? That’s the question.

Interestingly enough, though, I still don’t even really doubt it. I mean, heck, I, too, have dual citizenship.

My only point on that topic is that reiterating what some reporter put into a news article is not the same thing as supporting the claim with actual facts. Some reporter said it. That report has been quoted. But what if the initial reporter was wrong? How would we know?
