It has nothing to do with the so-called separation of church and state as the schools don't represent the state in the sense of making laws. They object because they fear that some students might take the Bible seriously which would upset their worldview, especially regarding the teaching of the ToE. They also fear that a force other than their own would unduly influence the students thinking and behavior. IOW, they see the Bible as a competitor and a threat to their authority. And in fact, it is. :omg:

My belief based on Intel is that before the end of this year millions of Bibles will be used to wipe ex believer's bottoms , or be used to start bonfires .

Still , they had a good run and ran a 2000 year scam .

Do they think the kids will start stoning adulterers to death? Or taking the bad mouth children to their town elders to have them murdered?

Aren't most teachers atheists as well as the school boards?

God-fearing people get screened out and are usually not hired unless they conceal who they really are.

Democrats are like cockroaches who only like being with other black, shiny bugs.

Why do MAGA posters hate teachers? Teachers don't set policy or curriculum.

No link. Support your claim. Most teachers I know are church members.

I don't have a problem with the bible. That being said, I don't want the bible taught in public schools. I also don't want the Koran or the Tanakh taught in public schools. It is the purview of each individual parent to direct the morals of their children. Public schools need to get back in their lane and teach the 3 Rs. The government is NOT moral and never has been.

Exactly. Schools are hard-pressed enough to educate children on the basics, the three R's, history, science, etc., much less teach religion. Further, it would be unfair to force Christianity on people who are not Christians!
  • Pledge alliegience to the flag? Yes.
  • Concede the roles and significance of faith and morality? Yes.
One can teach general faith and morality without anything specific to any given faith or no faith at all. Some people are just ethically guided. Bottom line: best not having government, the most corrupt and corruptible force on this planet trying to lecture children on morality.

That is what Sundays are for.
