You mean free food, a cell phone, housing, education, medical care and US citizenship for their unborn child is not incentive?
Its not true? You know this isn't true but yet you persist.
They do not get hired. They then have no reason to come when this starts and those who fail have no choice but return home.
There were stories about businesses closing down over Covid and how many illegals ended up going back home over that. I figure they have since returned.
Its not true?
Then where do they sleep?
How do they live?
What happens when they get sick?
Either they take jobs away from Americans or they are a burden on our social welfare system
Or both
Wow, what an idiotic response.
They will just leave after getting here......
They would have no other choice if there is no jobs for them. But you already know this.
Which puts Americans out of work and onto welfareThey take jobs. You already know that.
if you dont deport them then you have to support themThey would have no other choice if there is no jobs for them. But you already know this.
No, the local blue governments would provide for them still, you also know this.
Send the workforce home with them, then stop paying Americans not to work,The Constitution clearly makes immigration a Federal issue. This isn't like the right to privacy, it is clear.
With that being the case a state is unable to determine who is here legally or illegally.
Besides, how is the country better off by sending the children of their workforce home to be alone?
Sadly that is true but a highly bipartisan issue.
Which puts Americans out of work and onto welfare
if you dont deport them then you have to support them
Send the workforce home with them, then stop paying Americans not to work,
Problem solved.
Yes, taking jobs and welfare from AmericansThey are deported. They also are working here by the millions.
Red/blue.....that's all that is important to you. A part of the cult.
Welfare for able bodied people is paying Americans not to workNo one is now being paid to not work. This issue has been around for decades.
You mean that lie has been repeated over and over. The U.S. born child of an illegal is eligible for the same benefits as any other child born in the USA. It amounts to billions of dollars.Wrong, illegals are NOT eligible for welfare benefits. This has been covered over and over and over and over.
I did not skip over it. I said that the two reasons are economic opportunity and welfare. Jobs fall under the category of economic opportunity. If their kid is born here that makes them a citizen and they are eligible for limited benefits but it's not anything a family could survive on. To do that it takes jobs, something you skipped right over.
A lot of people are talking about it. The current administration is not only ignoring it, they are encouraging and abetting it.It would be great if we talked as much about preventing illegal border crossing as we do about educating illegal border crossers' kids for free.

Abbott says Texas could 'resurrect' SCOTUS case requiring states to educate all kids
The comments came after a leaked draft opinion from the U.S. Supreme Court revealed that a majority of justices were considering overturning Roe v. Wade.www.statesman.com
"Gov. Greg Abbott said Wednesday that Texas would consider challenging a 1982 U.S. Supreme Court decision requiring states to offer free public education to all children, including those of undocumented immigrants. Abbot said "the Supreme Court ruled against us on the issue. ... I think we will resurrect that case and challenge this issue again, because the expenses are extraordinary and the times are different" -- The remarks came days after a leaked draft of the forthcoming U.S. Supreme Court opinion."
Now, this may not be as good as overturning Brown vs Board, but it is a very good start....Most Texans (at least the real Texans) won't mind denying free education to a bunch of dirty wetback kids who can't even speak the language -- but the bonus is, it may allow states to discriminate based on race, but in a good way....As many had predicted with the overturning of Roe V Wade; that was never the ultimate goal...the ultimate goal was always what it was before Roe V Wade was ever thought about -- the goal is to return the country as far back as possible in the pursuit of holding on to the white patriarchy....or as Conservatives call it, back when America was great.
That fear of losing their hegemonic grip on power in this ever progressing country has been the chief motivating factor in how Conservatives turn out their base to vote for decades....which is why they no longer campaign on ACTUAL policies, but campaign on that fear....Just ask yourself, what is a Conservative platform policy that doesn't involve doing something to some other group that Conservatives don't like? Doing something "TO PEOPLE" is a far more motivating factor than doing something "FOR PEOPLE" -- if you are a conservative.....and their policies show it.
Another who wants to go after the children as opposed to doing anything at all about the reason people come here in the first place.
School kids don't fill his campaign coffers.
Conservatives: What other cruelty can we legitimize with our new Christofascist court?
The runt governor of Texass had better get rid of the 14th Amendment to the Constitution.
Here’s some of that pesky truth getting in the way again.Wrong, illegals are NOT eligible for welfare benefits. This has been covered over and over and over and over.
