Not supposed to be able to do that.Yes you can.
All over Los Angeles.
Chick-fil-A, Burger King, and any hot food at 7/11.
Must be some local thing.

Coffee is excluded for some reason. Not sure why. You can buy ground coffee at the supermarket, but you can't buy a hot coffee at 7/11.Not supposed to be able to do that.

I don't actually have any experience with it, I'm just going by what I read, but I don't think you can do that most places.Coffee is excluded for some reason. Not sure why. You can buy ground coffee at the supermarket, but you can't buy a hot coffee at 7/11.
3/4 of the musicians I work with get food stamps. Most of them look at it as "free food". They even ask me, "want some free food?" I say no thanks, just coffee, they say "sorry, can't do that". One of the local studios has a Keurig, then they come back with the fancy Starbucks multi-pack and I'm a happy camper all day. Would you believe the most expensive studio in town with three Neve boards doesn't even have a Keurig? I tell ya man, this business keeps going downhill. They used to give us lines and now we can't even get a coffee.I don't actually have any experience with it, I'm just going by what I read, but I don't think you can do that most places.
Where is SNAP in the Constitution?
It’s unconstitutional for the government not to supply people with free Skittles and Pepsi?Of course not, but then, where did I ever say anything about able-bodied young people? What are they doing on welfare? I'm talking about old, sick, disabled people with no choice forced onto welfare. Maybe even disabled through the government's own actions itself. Telling these people they must give up the only judicious pleasure left in their life is insane, not just for the discriminatory nature and unconstitutionality of it, but because it doesn't make anyone healthier nor save a dime.
Is it really up to the taxpayer to feed La Quisha fattening junk food and drink so she can sport a sizeable ass, get diabetes and die after she's spawned seven kids from seven different baby daddies while still in her 30s?Once again, Idaho leads the nation!
Well..in stigmatizing the poor, anyway~
Gov. Little is sure to sign this.

First SNAP ban on candy and soda set to become law
The bill now heads to Idaho Governor Brad Little's desk to be signed.www.newsweek.com
SNAP benefits—also known as "food stamps"—are administered nationwide to low- and no-income households that would otherwise struggle to purchase groceries. In the 2024 fiscal year, the program served 130,900 Idaho residents, or 7 percent of the state population. But numerous states are considering banning certain purchases from being made using the anti-poverty benefit, Idaho being the first to pass a bill in both chambers.
The passage and potential signing of the bill does not necessarily mean Idaho's SNAP recipients in Idaho will be immediately impacted, as the ban will be subject to U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) approval.
No waivers are currently in place in any state that bar SNAP recipients from buying foods based on their nutritional value. However, this could be subject to change under the current Trump administration. Newsweek has contacted the USDA for comment via email.
There is also a push at the federal level to see junk food purchases banned. In January, U.S. Representative Josh Brecheen, a Republican from Oklahoma, introduced the Healthy SNAP Act, which would make soft drinks, candy, ice cream and prepared desserts ineligible from being purchased using SNAP benefits.

Where did you think all those thugs came from. It's a viscous circle which the taxpayers are forced to perpetuate.^^^^^There it is again. Lumping all SNAP users into lazy fat ass blacks with their legs up in the air! Maybe it isn't desirable or fair to feed her under those conditions, but why punish all the rest because her fat ass is abusing the system?! Let me extend your thinking in a way to make my point:
If we take your reasoning and applied it to motor cars, then instead of just tickets speeders, we should give a ticket to everyone.
Choice is freedom...and it is not up to the Govt. to police people's food purchases.
Government handout is a privilege, not a right.Your two pennies in tax given to the poor isn't enough for you to determine what people should eat or drink.
If you don't want to be lorded over, then don't take the money.Where's the fun in welfare if we can't lord it over the less fortunate?
Try the produce section. Most everything on the shelf has sugar and salt in it. Cry about that while you're at it.
Maybe they can just buy pussy.I see zero reasons to limit what the poor buy with their SNAP benefits--do you?
Damn, I remember the first time I try a moon pie. They looked pretty good, especially with the packaging and all. And then I ate one and could not even finish it.I haven't decided if I'm for this or against this.
Does Little Debbie and Moon Pies qualify as candy?
The nanny state started with handouts in the first place.MAGA Nanny State
This is a good idea that is 50 years overdueOnce again, Idaho leads the nation!

WIC and Door Dash already do that.Well maybe they should form a committee of folks like you and Lisa and you can go to the grocery shop for them and drop it off at their house.
