I think you have just illustrated the problem with gun control laws.Talking out your ass again?
Anyone who wants to commit murder can commit murder
Anyone who wants to commit assault can commit assault
Anyone who wants to kill arson can commit arson
Are the laws against murder, assault, and arson unenforceable?
They, like most of our laws ,don't prevent crime from occurring, they simply define what behavior is prohibited and what the punishment is for violating said laws.
Unfortunately a significant segment of the population seems to have an unreasonable expectation that our laws function to prevent crime, which they rarely if ever do.
