In a Republic, actually
‘A federal judge on Wednesday ordered U.S. President Donald Trump's administration to ‌explain why it placed a tarp over the Kennedy ‌Center's façade after the Republican leader's name was removed from the building under a court order.

U.S. District Judge Christopher Cooper said the administration must report by July 31 "the purpose and status of the tarp and scaffolding" now in place at the iconic building.’

"the purpose and status of the tarp”

We know the purpose: a Trump temper-tantrum; a display of childish arrogance where if his name can’t be on the Center, neither can President Kennedy’s.

The judge needs to order the idiotic tarp removed.

Why should it have a Democrat name and no Republican name? Isn't that partisan?

I'm interested in hearing the bullshit reason for it being there. Also I'm wondering how much the American Taxpayers paid to purchase that illustrious tarp.

LOL A judge demanding answers over a tarp and scaffolding.

Yeah, that is pure fascistic judiciary at work.

BTW The building is a mess and has been for years.
Next he'll want to know how many gallons of water were used to clean the sidewalk. These leftist judges are all as stooooopid as Ketanji Jackson.

I suppose you'll be demanding reasons for the barriers on NYC construction too. You and the judge are too stupid to understand the reasoning anyway. Truth be known, it was probably a rule that some brain dead democrat put into place because they weren't smart enough to stay out of construction areas. SMFH.

Yeah, why shouldn't every govmint building have two names.
You are dodging the question.

Why should there be a Democratic Party of Slavery president's name on the building, but not a president from the Republican party that ended slavery?

Seems like a very pro-slavery bias to me.

It's a memorial to JFK.

Pro-slavery.....hilarious.

No it isn't.

It's a cultural center.

The JFK Memorial is in Dallas.
Stop being the stupidest version of yourself.

The Kennedy Center as a Memorial

Yes — the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington, D.C., is officially a living memorial to President John F. Kennedy Wikipedia+1.

Originally conceived as the National Cultural Center under the National Cultural Center Act of 1958, the project was renamed the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in January 1964, shortly after President Kennedy’s assassination, as a way to honor his memory and his strong advocacy for the arts Google Arts & Culture. President Lyndon B. Johnson signed the bill renaming it, stating that the center would “not only honor the memory of a very great man, but enrich our whole American life” The Kennedy Center+1.

The Kennedy Center is unique among U.S. memorials because it is not a static monument. It is a permanent, functioning cultural institution that hosts thousands of performances each year — from theater and opera to orchestral and popular music — and offers free public events like those on the Millennium Stage National Trust for Historic Preservation. This ongoing cultural activity is what makes it a “living memorial”:

It's a cultural center with Kennedy's name slapped on it as an afterthought in a very partisan fashion.

Time to change that.

This is one of the most preposterous rationales I've heard made.
