Zone1 Did Jesus come to save the Jews?

We love hob. He has his very own interpretation of everything in the Bible. And it seems to make perfect sense to him. :disbelief:

so what is the 4th century, christian bible - state religion of the roman empire - for anyone to solely rely on, ram when there are two others w/ the same preamble.

and without the heart of the 1st century events - liberation theology, self determination jesus and those others gave their life for the refutation of judaism their false commandments et al.

Who is this 4 century writer that has sold the most books ever printed? The one that could predict the future with precision. Who knew the history of the earth and was able to describe dimensions, long before it took Hawking to find them? Why has this marvel prognosticator never been discovered?

no one knows ...

the christian bible was written by committee over a near full century before being completed - the state religion of the roman empire - a work of fiction derived from historical events ...

- and ram is able to use the archive they preserved of the documents used to write their book - oh, there is no archive or even a single document preserved anywhere in existence. nor even an original copy of the book.

so ram relies on faith, just like the phony moses commandments that never existed as their own guiding lite.

is it not a wonder ram is a lost sheep ..,

Yes
And also everything about their very exacting protocols .
His involvement with the Essenes finished once Joseph rescued him from crucifixion and the kids came later .
It's all available if you know where to search .

I regret telling you that Jesus was more a Buddhist or Hindu versed in the Vedas .
He clearly denied being the Son of God and detested the idea of " Religion" .

But DYOR and stop being lazy .
There isn't one thing about your post that is true. The Dead Sea Scrolls mention nothing about Jesus. No one rescued Jesus from the cross. He died there.

I am pleased that you sleep anxiety free with your beliefs to comfort you .
Unfortunately the evidence and facts are exactly as I recounted .

I just provided a top line summary .

The evidence does not grow on trees as we have had 2000 years of the Church and Establishment suppressing these facts and ridiculing those speaking out and writing innumerable scholarly books based on the writings kicked out by the Church for not fitting in with their desired narratives .

As for Jesus not dying on the cross .
For your beliefs to be true there must have been some amazing impersonators in those long ago times .

Who was it who impersonated the Magdalene in Egypt with her younger son and daughter?
And who carried on the act when they moved from Egypt to southern France ?

And how do we explain Jesus wandering about Asia Minor with his eldest son until his death around 60AD ?

Your best bet is to dismiss all of it as Fake News so that you can sleep soundly .

Scholars will triumph in the long run even if few if any will be the Cultists themselves . For obvious reasons .
Why wreck a business when it is still making money and bolstering personal belief ?

Each to his/her own , but I have spent nearly 40 years keeping up with developments in these areas and my detail knowledge is considerable .
This of course in itself proves nothing .
But I wager my interest and knowledge is around 99% better in these areas than yours .
You rely on Faith and your fear of being shown to be wrong .
That I understand, but I can never support it --- as an intellectual and researcher in a specialist area.

Then Christ became a servant, not to the circumcised, but to a few of the circumcised. So, yes to David, and no to the Joseph next to him, or vice versa? Jesus preached to both, forsaking neither. Jesus sent His southern disciples to the northern Jews because they were Jews. He made that point clear when He specifically told His disciples, no Gentiles and no Samaritans.

If Christ preferred one circumcised Jew over another, or abandoned some of the tribes, that nullifies the promises God made to the patriarchs. He didn't favor the north over the south, He Himself being from the south.
God gathered the Jews, Judah and Israel, from all over the world to Israel. And when Christ returns to keep all the Jews from being wiped off the face of the earth, He never asks them which tribe they belong to.
And what does Jesus do with the mix of the two? What is the Jew called whose mother is from the House of Judah and his father is a descendant of Manasseh? What about adoption?

Jeremiah 30:3 "For, I say, the days are coming," declares the Lord, "when I will restore the fortunes of my people Israel and Judah, says the Lord, and I will bring them back to the land that I gave to their fathers, and they shall take possession of it."
Do you believe that the descendants of the 12 tribes of Israel that exist today...are Jews? A "Jew" today can be an ethnic Jew or a religious convert. Did Jesus 'build his church' among the Jews? Is Judaism the religion of Jesus Christ? If so, who are these people called "Christians"?

It will be interesting to learn just how this curse against the Jews was to be carried out.

Ezekiel 5

13 Thus shall mine anger be accomplished, and I will cause my fury to rest upon them, and I will be comforted: and they shall know that I the LORD have spoken it in my zeal, when I have accomplished my fury in them.
14 Moreover I will make thee waste, and a reproach among the nations that are round about thee, in the sight of all that pass by.
15 So it shall be a reproach and a taunt, an instruction and an astonishment unto the nations that are round about thee, when I shall execute judgments in thee in anger and in fury and in furious rebukes. I the LORD have spoken it.

Was the Holocaust God's fury against the Jews.

Outline of Biblical Usage: fury
  1. heat, rage, hot displeasure, indignation, anger, wrath, poison, bottles
    1. heat
      1. fever
      2. venom, poison (fig.)
    2. burning anger, rage
It's NOT a curse, but love.
The Lord chastises those whom He loves.
The world hates the Jews because they are known as the followers of the true God.

The pagan gentile church follows a different god

If you want to know the true Jesus, look to the FIRST CENTURY Jewish converts

Uh.....sorry....all of his Disciples were Jewish.
You start small and work to increase your numbers.
Till the end his Jewish faith was still important to him.
What exactly was "his Jewish faith"?

The world "hates" the Jews because God has ordained it, for the time being. He is spanking some of his children.

God "loved" six million Jews to death in the Holocaust. And, allowed millions of other Israelites to perish in world wars.

Or was he only sent to the descendants of the other tribes of Israel?
The answer should be obvious to you. Scripture was pretty clear. Who did Jesus first minister to?

"He came to his own (the Jews), and his own (the Jews) received him not."

He then left Jewry (because the Jews wanted to kill him) and went into "Galilee of the Gentiles" and began to preach the gospel of the kingdom.

He, as did John the Baptist, preached repentance to the Jews. He didn't preach the gospel of the kingdom, except to the disciples (who he later sent to the "lost sheep" of the northern kingdom).

He put an end to the blood ritual of the Passover, which was part of what he "finished" on the cross.
He still celebrated Passover and every other ritual that is important to Jews.
All he did was add to the gospel.
Blood sacrifice was what he changed. Not removed.

What else did he change about the Law? What was the biggest change?

Opening up the gospel to Gentiles.
What was/is the "law" of the gospel? Does that mean the Gentiles are now under the Law, especially circumcision? What is 'new' about the New Covenant?
