Zone1 Why didn’t God kill the first born of Germany?

God seems to be inconsistent on how he reacts to slavery.
With the Pharaoh God killed the first born of Egypt

WIth slaves in the US and Holocaust….God did nothing
I am just pointing out a disparity in how God responds to slavery

I am pretty damned sure that slavery is wrong
If God is OK with it, that is his business

If it's God's business, why do you make it your business? Talk about 'disparity' and 'inconsistency'.

With Israel, God really was not reacting to 'slavery' as an institution. It was time for Israel to go to the promised land. God led Israel to Egypt in the first place, so that they may grow as a nation of people. And they did. Now it was time for them to leave and go to Canaan. And Pharoah would not let them go.

What makes you think God did nothing with the slaves in the U.S. and the Jews in the Holocaust?

Concerning 'slavery' you will find nothing in the Bible against it. You may not like it, but then, who cares. You don't like God anyway.

What makes you presume to think you can understand the mind of God?
I am pointing out how inconsistent the mind of God is

In my human mind it is simple…….Owning another human being is wrong. ALWAYS

God seems to ignore it sometimes

I have read your posts

You support slavery in the Civil War

In the time of Moses, the Egyptian Pharaohs kept the Jews in slavery.
God sent Moses to demand their release. When the Pharaoh refused, God sent ten plagues onto Egypt including locusts, flies, a river running red, boils, darkness and finally killing the first born of Egypt.

But when Hitler killed six million Jews and enslaved the rest, God did nothing.

Why was that?
As a Christian I can tell you it is because He is likely overwhelmed with influencing sporting events so that athletes thank Him. It’s a full time job picking winners and losers.

Why do bad things happen if there is a God is always a tough answer. There could be a God that didnt help the Jews in Egypt nor the Jews in Germany. I mean the Bible says Jonah lived in a fish belly for 3 days… that’s made up.

I support the U.S. who supported slavery prior to and during the War Between the States.

God is not inconsistent at all.

Indeed, in your mind...simple.

God doesn't call right and wrong by your standards. Thus He always will ignore you.

One of the benefits of being God. It's His way or the highway.

God did nothing? That is quite the assumption from a person incapable of seeing God. FYI, no one gets away with anything evil, ever. If God is God people never have and never will.

Consider this. God is the only living being in existence whose existence is absolute, incorporeal, with no visible shape or material form, he has no audible voice and lives in a realm invisible to human beings where he cannot be seen heard tasted smelt or felt by any of the five senses. So how could you possibly "see" if God did something or nothing?

Like Jesus said.

Blessed are the pure of mind (the only thing incorporeal about man) for they shall "see" God.

If you want to see what God always does with those who have made evil a deliberate choice.

Purify your own mind, be refined, and you will see God.

BTW why do you assume that the first born of Germany weren't killed in the same way the first born Egyptians died just like anyone who defies the law of God is dead, in hell?

Maybe even you?

History does not lie

God did nothing to Germany as they exterminated Jews

No plagues,
no locusts, no killing of the first born of Germany. That is what God is capable of when he is displeased.

God chose to do nothing

You are basing that on the extremely subjective experience of a man who compared to God is less than an amoeba. However grandiose the opinions that human have about themselves, they are in no position to make such judgments. I always find it fascinating that when someone doesn't get what I said, they say that I don't make any sense instead of they don't understand. In the same way you said that God did nothing instead of saying "I can't see".

Dollars to donuts the flaw is not with God.

Have you never thunk those six million are in paradise forever, spared from a long life on this fucked up antisemitic planet and their killers, every last one, have been destroyed, forever.

I may be an amoeba but even I know slavery and genocide is wrong

Then its up to people to assert their power. Don't blame God for what people do or fail to do.

You want God to vote trump out of office or throw him in jail for his many crimes by force?

God will never do for people what they MUST do for themselves to become "living beings".

Yes, and then the people screwed the pooch. Will you blame God for that too?
I look at it this way

If I was freed from slavery
I would do some celebrating

Funny thing, when God does take action to remove evil, the usual suspects who complain that He did not in their favorite case go berserk complaining that He should not have taken out the evil that He did.

It's almost as if you trolls are going to complain about what He does no matter what He does. That couldn't be it, could it?

Me too! I wouldn't be bitching and moaning to Moses about the hardships of freedom. Damn

But that was then. This is now.

Your freedom from the slavery of mind control, ignorance, and pain from the trauma of the past is at hand just as it was in Egypt when Moses freed his people so get ready to party!

He didn't live in a fish, he was in "the belly of the beast" which has nothing so do with a fish.

In the Belly of the Beast is a book written by Jack Henry Abbott and published in 1981.

Jack Henry Abbott was an American prisoner and the book consists of his letters to Norman Mailer about his experiences in what Abbott saw as a brutal and unjust prison system.

God does not run our lives as if we were bees. We have autonomy and if we screw up we have to fix it
