Democrats can’t win the gerrymander war

Doc7505 is wrong, yet again.

Using the same voting from the last election, the gerrymandering going on would result in a ten seat Dem majority in the House and a 50 50 tie in the Senate.
can't make up this much stupid. It was explained quite well in the OP. Look at this fool. Hilarious. psst, when you don't have anymore districts you can take, you can't get anymore seats, what part of that confused you?

Gerrymandering to produce a national political outcome is a relatively new thing.

Before 2010, gerrymandering was common. But it was an intramural battle inside states, with no focus on changing the national political map.

However, after the GOP got clobbered in the 006vmd terms, the GOP took the lesson that the only way they could reliably secure control of Congress was to design districts in ststes to produce that outcome, regardless of the will of the voters.

Enter Project Red Map, the first ever effort to gerrymander state districts to produce a national outcome.

Whereas Rs are more like Chic-fil-a
Is this more of the Dems effort to mimic Rs?
In this universe its chick-fil-a ;)

In this universe Republicans represent the interest of Americans while democrats represent the interest of the world in America

Democrats = traitors

Yes, yes, yes EVOL!!!!

You partisan fuckers are batshit insane.

How about we just say no more gerrymandering and split the congressional districts up in a same manner that doesn’t look insane on a map

Can’t we all agree that would be the best possible course of action?

It’s about 700-900k population per congressional district. It shouldn’t be that hard to divide up
The most glaring [but not only] problem is when do you do that? before or after your political opponents get their shot at gerrymandering? because whoever sets the map last will have an advantage going forward.

Yes. The childish "it's our turn" argument.

How? By doing what Democrats have already done? Gerrymandering is not cheating. Once again, your side is standing in sand.
How? Who's going to stop Abbott from stealing every House seat in Texas? ******* no one.

Because you all are Nazis.
