Without major reversals, a blue wave is imminent at this point. Does it mean the Republicans will lose the House? No, but only because of the extreme gerrymandering being engaged in. The Senate is at risk as are all down ballot races and I suspect the Democrats will flip several state legislative chambers this year, which could result in further redistricting wars for the 2028 cycle.

When popular policies and good governance are too hard, just gerrymander to maintain power!

I'm going with the matter being determined by how voters feel about their economic security.
  • "All politics is local" - Tip O'Neill
  • "It's the economy, stupid" - James Carville

As long as I'm quoting political folks, I can't miss this opportunity for a golden oldie from 1974 about the Pope opposing birth control:
  • "He no playa the game, he no maka the rules" - U.S. Agriculture Secretary Earl Butz

The blue "wave" has not only disappeared but it's now looking like it won't even be a trickle
It was never a wave. The Democrats propaganda machine has been in overdrive just like every election year trying to RIG elections by suppressing the Republican vote turnout with 'it's over, you already lost' propaganda.

Here's the facts...reasons to vote against Democrats abound. Reasons to vote for Democrats do not exist.
