I was shocked how good it is .
The 1930s setting , technology, characters and dialogue is very good . Nicolas Cage as Ben Reilly is outstanding!! Show has excellent witty humor and dialogue with compelling characters all wrapped into a towering mysterious setting
.

Yes the show has super heroes but they don’t overwhelm the show and come off as secondary and more grounded

Silvermane plays the Irish mob boss as is excellent and Cage is at his best

It’s fun and it has the Visual history thing going on , the Woke undertones are distracting but not a crucial aspect .
