So you believe our universe is the only universe that was likely to have popped into existence? That the mechanism responsible for creating our universe isn't likely to have created other universes? The multiverse is not a proven fact.

A more impressive feat would be replacing your heart of stone. But until then, you'll just have to do with Jesus rising from the dead. When you can show your "creator of existence" regrowing a human amputee's limb - feel free to let me know.
Be that as it may, the laws of nature do not preclude the creator of existence doing things that you consider impossible because as near as we can tell our existence is a figment of God's imagination. That everything is just information. What you perceive as real is not real. We exist in an alternate reality and the only reality that is real is the source of our universe. The multiverse is not a proven fact.
I have no idea why you are so exercised about me in particular. The point is I want to know WHY people believe/act the way they do. So far, you have yet to open up about that. Once more, have you ever practiced Christianity?
The absolute NERVE of you bringing the Holocaust into this. From EUROPE. Are you serious right now. You can't be.
What Stage of Grief is it when the very people who inflicted the Holocaust swarm like locusts to American sites to point out everything WE do wrong?
The point is I want to know WHY people believe/act the way they do. So far, you have yet to open up about that. Once more, have you ever practiced Christianity?
"believe" is the incorrect term.So you believe our universe is the only universe that was likely to have popped into existence?
We do not know that although it is an interesting theory. That the mechanism responsible for creating our universe isn't likely to have created other universes?
.To wrap up, a Christian wife doesn't have to stay home, have babies, bake sourdough, grow her hair long, wear only skirts, have no opinions, refrain from voting or participating in the community, or any other thing because she is submitted. She and her husband, seeking Biblical wisdom, gets to decide how he feels respected and she feels loved.
It didn't. Lot's of people say that but it's a pretty dumb idea.I do not know if the matter in our universe exploded out of some huge black hole from elsewhere.
It doesn't. Also a pretty dumb idea.I do not know if our universe operates like a giant elastic band expanding and contracting.
Nearly equal amounts of matter and anti-matter. For every 1 billion particles of anti-matter there were 1 billion and 1 particles of matter. We know this because of the CMB and the matter in the universe. There's your evidence of God.Nor can I offer offer an explanation for the lack of antimatter in our universe if both it and matter were created in equal quantities during the Big Bang.
If other universes exist it would be idiotic to assume they were created any other way than our universe was created. The key word being created. We do not know that although it is an interesting theory.
Perhaps the better work is us showing our Creator, how much we value/love amputees and others with what are considered "deformities" instead of cringing and/or feeling sorry for them instead of tossing them aside as a "God project"--especially when there isn't even a belief in God. Maybe when one can scorn people of faith, it's even easier to scorn amputees? When you can show your "creator of existence" regrowing a human amputee's limb - feel free to let me know.
You think I approach you differently? My first interest in anyone is why they hold the position(s) they do. You may have missed the post where I grew up in an extended family of many faiths and no faith. My interest is in why people believe (or not believe) as they do. In other words, I am more interested in individuals and individuality than them submitting research I have been studying for decades. That's like sitting through a class of basic arithmetic. Why are you supposing that any research you submit is news to me?I have no idea why you are so exercised about me in particular.
Have you never encountered atheists/sceptics/unbelievers on this board prior to my posting to it?
The jews dindunuffin they were chased out of country After country for no reason whatsoeverDid I touch a nerve?
Embarrassing although you may find it, it was Christianity that produced 1900 years or so of anti-Judaism and later anti-Semitism.
The roots are to be found in several of your Christian texts, the most infamous being Matthew 27:25.
Hence my view that for many Christians today the slogans "I stand with Israel" and "Israel Friendly" along with often unquestioning support for the modern state of Israel is partly founded on guilt for what ostensibly Christian nations did. Anti-Semitism in Europe did not start and end with the Nazis. It was to be found right across the Christian world including the USA.
