Zone1 Why Do Christians Have A Problem With All Dogs Go to Heaven?

For even in real life I would assume that dogs and all animals go to Heaven just like babies since they can't make a conscious decision to follow Christ. At least that's what I and many other Christians believe.

Especially because in the Bible it talks about animals being in Heaven so why is the theology of this movie wrong? That's what I've seen and heard btw but it's one of my favorites. That and I do believe that the second one is underrated because I love that one too. It's really sad what happened to Judith Barsi though. Rest in peace little one. (I wasn't even born yet when that happened though.)


PS. For anybody who doesn't know, her father murdered her and her mother by shooting them to death and then shot himself.

While I do believe there will be animals in Heaven, I do not believe animals have souls.

I do not believe that animals I have had in the past will be there.

God created animals and humans differently.

They definitely have a spirit that returns to God when they die, JUST LIKE WE DO

This is a PRIMARY reason I'm vegan and why it is so damn offensive when you mock the death of animals you don't consider important. That LIFE was noticed by God Himself even as you laugh. He said He takes note of their death.

This is why I choose not to be part of any innocent creatures death.

Who mocks the death of animals? It's marvellous of a chook to give its life that I may have sustenance.

Thomas Aquinas taught that animals do have souls, but these souls are "sensitive" and material, granting them life, sensation, and instinct. However, he concluded that animal souls are mortal and cease to exist when the body dies, unlike the spiritual, rational, and immortal souls of humans. [1, 2]
Aquinas's philosophy classified souls into a distinct hierarchy: [1]

• Vegetative Souls (Plants): Responsible for growth, nutrition, and reproduction.
• Sensitive Souls (Animals): Possess all vegetative powers, plus the ability to feel, experience emotion, and move voluntarily.
• Rational Souls (Humans): Possess all of the above, plus an intellectual capacity for abstract thought, logic, and moral choices. [1]

The Key Difference

• Humans: Because human reason is a spiritual and non-material function, the rational soul can exist independently of the physical body.
• Animals: Aquinas argued that an animal's cognitive and emotional functions are entirely tied to its physical organs. Therefore, when the physical body perishes, the sensitive soul naturally perishes with it. [1, 2]
