NBC News did a story on illegals scamming the U.S. out of child tax credit refunds. Some illegals got refund checks from the IRS for over $20,000. Some illegals interviewed were claiming up to 13 kids, that don't even live in the U.S. and never have. The IRS punted the issue to congress, saying there's nothing they can do. Repeated attempts and stopping this scam by illegals have been blocked by Democrats in congress.

Democrats can't hide from this one. The money appropriated for all federal programs, including child welfare, from 10/1/2021 to 9/30/2023 have been made under Biden's presidency and their majority in Congress.

But I will admit this, the source of the data states that the Official Poverty Rate for 2022 was essentially the same as 2021. It is the Supplemental Poverty Measure that showed the increase.
