Zone1 can you have two different faiths at the same time?

The problem comes in when somebody thinks they alone have it all figured out and tries to claim that their church is the real church

(when somebody has it all figured out and states their church is the real church ...)

the other problem is when people, desert dwellers in particular believe there is no true path for them to find theirself and rely on false bibles and self motivated clergy that eventually leads to a dead end than relying on their own guidance being far better even if in error.

Could be for some.

Others find that their spirituality provides a clear and balanced path.

How about you, Breezewood? Is your path clear and balanced?

Have you ever wondered if there is anything beyond the heavens?

I can imagine being a Jewish version of a Christian. Call it a Messianic Jew or something.

Christianity is unpalatable to Jews, mainly because they cannot accept Jesus being God, and Him ding for our sins. But I don't think Judaism (or at least a version of it) is incompatible with Christianity.

Other way around. Messianic Jews are an offshoot of Southern Baptist. Hold services with Jewish trappings. Call their Minister Rabbi. They are usually very active around campus and large immigrant Jewish communities, especially during the influx of Russian Jews. They prey on those who do not have a great Jewish background and are vulnerable, like young people away from home at university. The goal is for them to convert to Christianity.

Ah...Breezey the god of the universe. Relies on his own stupidity to guide people away from the true God of this universe, The Father, Son and Holy Ghost.

Universalism or Unitarianism?
Universalism, unofficially.

Unitarianism is historically a dogmatic response specifically negating the concept of the Holy Trinity.

Although Unitarian Universalism as a religion no longer adheres strictly to the original point of Unitarianism.

There is a global sect of Universalist Christians or Christian Universalists, but their overall number is so insignificant as to be practically extinct.

Their core belief is that Jesus Christ is the Lord and Savior of all mankind and that all souls both living and dead will eventually be saved.

But there are unofficial non-Christian Universalists in all religions.

For example, George Harrison left Catholicism to become a devoted and practicing Hindu, but he did not believe Hinduism was the only legitimate spiritual path, and all of his spiritual songs reflect that Universalist belief.

And there are people of many faiths who likewise believe that their faith is not the only path to God.

There are 40,000 semi-quasi Christian churches that all deviate slightly from each other allowing outside influences in as the Greek, Hellenism’s, like the Jews and many others. Only one Church is the same as the one Jesus Christ established 2,000 years ago. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

i dont think so
do you?

Absolutely. But you word it as if the two ideologies must be competing against one another. In fact, you can have more than one ideology if one is a subset of the other.

The instant you start trying to exclude believers from the Body of Christ, you run into trouble.

Did I say “body of Christ? The body of Christ and the Church of Jesus Christ are not the same. The body of Christ are those with faith to believe in Christ. The Church are those whose faith leads them to the true “doctrine”, “covenants”, and “ordinances” of Christ’s teachings which requires more than belief. It requires an organization established by Christ and a Prophet he calls directly and in person.

Can you point to Scripture that says that?

If you combine the values of more than one faith it becomes a blend and in effect is one faith you believe in.

Last night, our Church Stake had our annual Christmas Choir program. We sang the Cantana Glory Hallalullah to the New Born King. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints sponsored it as a community Christmas program. But also in the Choir itself were members of other Churches in the area like the Methodist and others. We were singing as a body of Christ as one in faith and belief in Jesus Christ. But, we were from separate Churches. Only our Church has the true Gospel, doctrines and ORDINANCES with power and authority of the Priesthood. A scripture is unnecessary to understand.

Actually, it IS necessary. You claim your group has the true Gospel, yet it was not invented until only recently. You conveniently brush under the rug that you believe God just allowed His Church to remain ignorant of the truth for over a thousand years.
