Now, here's the big difference I know you lack the intellect to parse.
We really don't know what happened 1500 or 2000 years ago with Jesus or Mohammed. We don't know which stories were true or which were made up.
On the other hand, the scam that is LDS is well-documented. Joseph Smith's criminal activity, from his first conviction for fraud in 1825 until he was killed by an angry mob for banging teenagers in 1845, we documented how this guy went from one scam to another. And we can be pretty sure he wasn't talking to God, just ask the Quakers he thought were living on the Moon.
How large does a cult have to be to escape being a cult? I thought their practices made certain groups a cult?
We do know that Mohammad had sex with his nine year old wife and was a warlord per their own records. Can any Mormons top that?
