When the DOD (Department of Defense) calls General Dynamics ( a tank making company for the M1A1) and says they need 20 more tanks to replace those damanged in war, and all those General Dynamic workers build those tanks, you want to tell me again the Federal Guvmont didn't "create" those jobs.

I could go on and on about all the government orders placed with private manufacturing to build what ever it is the guvmint ordered. Creating jobs.

Not really funny if you stop and think about it. Jobs that are 'created' by government fiat, that don't supply us with the goods and services that people actually want and need (and most importantly - will pay for) don't do us any good. It's analogous to paying people to dig holes and then fill them back in. You could call such pointless activity a 'job'. You could even pay people for doing it (with taxes taken from people who actually are doing useful work), but that work doesn't provide society with any benefit. It's utter waste.

He understands what our economy needs to start growing again. He's run a state, he knows how to balance a budget, he knows how to work with both sides in order to provide the best solutions for the country.

Oh, another reason Romney is superior to Paul as a candidate is Romney's foreign policy looks quite saner. Ron Paul doesnt seem to understand that if we want to disentangle ourselves from the world, it isnt safe or wise to do so with unilateral withdrawl. Wisdom shows that we need to make ourselves energy self-sufficient first. As long as we rely on energy from hostile nations, we will need to be involved in protecting our interests.

You're misrepresenting Paul's position. We can stay engaged AND protect our interests without a permanent military presence in every corner of the globe. To it bluntly, there is a huge gulf between the quasi world empire we now run and sanely protecting our nation. We spend more on defense than the rest of the world combined. We spend six times the amount of our nearest rival, China (and we wonder why they are outpacing us economically). The knee-jerk response that any suggestion of reversing this insanity amounts to 'isolationism' is disturbingly delusional.
