What the election showed

1. Democrats did a great organizational job to take a severely Gerrymandered House
2. Trump did a great job in organizing his base to increase the number os Senate seats
3. Republicans did what is necessary to win close contests
4. Republicans held their stronghold in the South but Dems showed that formerly solid Red states like Georgia, Texas and Arizona are up for grabs
5. For 2020, Florida and Ohio still showed they are leaning red but Pennsylvania, Michigan and Wisconsin drifted back to blue

I think it looks good for the Democrats in Congress going forward; especially when the GOP has so many Senate seats to defend in 2020.

As for the Oval office. If you haven’t been turned off by the blob yet…I don’t see it happening. Maybe 20,000 lies will have a greater effect than the 10,000 or so he’s told since he was sworn in…but I doubt it.
A key for Democrats in the 2018 election is they developed campaign infrastructure and registered hundreds of thousands of voters in areas that leaned red. That showed up in their House victory

It will carry over in 2020

Hope so. Don’t think so.

The President's ability to win the Senate will mean that he will be able to really work on getting his appointments to the court confirmed.

This is a huge point of positivity, one of the things that a lot of folks love about Trump.

Also, he won't have to worry about the dam infrastructure, the Dems don't want it so they can be blamed.

Big win for Republicans especially if Thomas and Ginsberg check out
Republicans are setting up for the day they no longer can win in Congress and the White House. They are stacking courts with young conservatives at all levels that will invalidate Democratic legislation over trivial issues for decades

Haven't progressives been saying the whole "You will never win another election again) for about 2 decades now?

And the only legislation most of them will "invalidate" will be progressive attempts at national level morality plays, and of course, gutting the 1st and 2nd amendment.
Right now, Republicans rule from a minority in the House, Senate and White House
Long term demographics with Hispanics, women and young voters are not in their favor. Neither are increasing voter turnouts.

Republicans see the handwriting on the wall and are vigorously stacking the courts for the day they can no longer execute minority rule

Actually, in some states like Pennsylvania, the Democrats have severely gerrymandered the congressional delegation with the help of a Runaway State Supreme Court. "Gerrymandering" has been around since the time of Vice President Gerry and is played by both political parties.

Pennsylvania is a good example of things to come
The illegal Republican Gerrymandered districts were readjusted to “fair” apportioning with court oversight
Democrats picked up seats in fairly drawn districts

Actually, in Pennsylvania, the Far Left has a hammerlock on the Supreme Court. The districts were by no means "fair" but instead tilted to help extremists in the Commonwealth

Maybe you're right, and America is heading down the same path as Venezuela- a wealthy nation condemned to a socialist future of despair. But President Trump's plan for wealth can change those demographics. If Hispanics and African Americans start working earning, paying taxes in larger numbers and get some skin in the game, fewer will be dependents on the welfare system in failed inner cities.

Then they will start voting for Middle of the Road candidates in larger numbers.

The idea that people are racially attached to alien Marxist ideologies is false.

Not sure about the importance of stacking the courts. I think the judicial body has a way of moderating itself over time.

The writing on the wall for the electoral landscape is clear however. I would be using Arizona but we don’t have a winner yet so I’ll look at Texas...

True. The 2018 midterms saw the following tallies:

The figures to focus on are the 4,003,513 for Beto and the year 2018; a Midterm election where participation is usually lower than the general election. I’ve actually seen higher totals for O’Rourke than what Wikipedia is reporting—the AP says he got 12,000 votes more.

Now consider this….

Beto received General Election type numbers in a Midterm election.

So that is a hopeful trend for whomever runs for Senate in 2020 against Cornyn.

Beto spent more than any candidate in history in his losing effort. Meanwhile, Gov. Abbott won easily against a Latina chica.

I think demographics are shifting in Texas as more people move to urban areas of Dallas, Austin, Houston and San Antonio

While Beto lost, I think he energized the left in Texas and laid the groundwork for future elections

I think he might draw Vice President consideration in 2020

What the election showed last night is that Trump's election was no fluke. That Trump's base is strong and cohesive. That the white working class is still in his corner and that Trump will be a formidable candidate in 2020.

Furthermore, it also showed that pollsters continue to under estimate Trump's support. Conservatives are right on that point. Take the polls for what they are worth. Not much.

Imo there were also Kavenaugh effects on Trump leaning women and politicizing illegal immigration works.

7. Obamacare is now safe

Man, Obamacare is in a weird position and now needs called "Trump Care" IMO. It is mandatory health insurance with no enforcement and regulations set up to at least try to make it work under that premise. Then, no one is modifying them regulations as they prove inefficient or realities change.

None of the networks have interview Luis Bracamontes about his opinion on the election yet. He has to consider the results quite satisfying.

Who ever though the dumping of tens of millions of anchor babies over the last 4 decades, raised to be loyal to origin, was a strategy in taking over America?
Seems to be working nonetheless.

Law of the Jungle, the weak shall perish......allowing this to happen was "weakness"

What the election showed was that:
1. Americans are dumber than dirt for allowing Pelosi back into a position of power.
2. Floridians are not in socialism
3. Diversity is not a plus but it is a drawback.

I wonder if the Republicans would have kept the House if Trump wasn't censored by the MSM.
That was the KO haymaker that the Republicans didn't see coming.

It's amazing anyone on the Right has any say at all in this nation anymore.

The Left has the nearly insurmountable advantage of Social Media, Search Engines, News Media, The Press, The Entertainment Industry, the Deep State and the Screwal system FULLY covering and backing it's agenda every step, regardless of their actions.

Hard to believe the Right can hold ANY political power against all that.

The Right better wise up and find a way to launch it's own Social Media networks and Press. FAST
