All Americans do not benefit from government enforced wealth redistribution, ~50% not paying income taxes, etc

To be honest, a lot of them want more regulations when it comes to the market. (While I don't agree completely, I think there has to be some from of Regulation. *I'm talking about the Food industry for instance.*)

End our Middle East Presence, scaling down our spending on Defense. (Even though Clinton tried that and didn't work out as planned)

Higher Taxes for people making more money, and less taxes for people making less money. (While It sounds nice and loving, it's kind of hard doing that and not creating a single class, which reminds me a lot of Socialist standing points. *No I'm not calling Democrats Socialists, well, not all of them.*

What benefits you.. you get the DEMs in power to push forth your agenda of equality, unequal treatment of those who you want paying for your benefits, lower tax rates for you than for others, etc

I want equal legal treatment for gay people as well.. that does not mean special treatment by government and redefinition for the sake of a chosen lifestyle... hell, I am for getting government out of all marriage and ensuring equal treatment for coupled family units for taxation, inheritance, power of attorney in emergencies, etc... but as shown so many times, the funny thing is this equal treatment is not wanted by the gays or the gay marriage supporters... it is about government forced acceptance and recognition
