Maureen Dowd takes the GOP to task.

"....Who would ever have thought blacks would get out and support the first black president? Who would ever have thought women would shy away from the party of transvaginal probes? Who would ever have thought gays would work against a party that treated them as immoral and subhuman? Who would have ever thought young people would desert a party that ignored science and hectored on social issues? Who would ever have thought Latinos would scorn a party that expected them to finish up their chores and self-deport?...."

I know! Just look at what Obama did with the National Debt: Pared it right down. Oh wait, no he didn't.

Well, then lets look at what he did with George Bush's wars of choice: He got all our troops back home immediately just as he promised. Oh wait, no he didn't.

Total numbers were DOWN from 2008 for the Democrats.
2008:
Obama: 69.5 Million
McCain: 59.9 Million

2012:
Obama: 65.4 Million
Romney: 60.7 Million

Does Dowd EVER mention that? Yeah, go ahead and act like you have a "mandate" and see what happens.

And now the party that has added disabled Vets and Native American Women to it's hate list.
That would be BOTH Parties:
Veterans Groups Object to Cuts in Health Care as Super Committee Targets Benefits | Fox News
The two groups were unnerved when both parties' leaders on the Senate Armed Services Committee -- Carl Levin, D-Mich., and John McCain, R-Ariz. -- recommended that the special deficit-cutting super committee look at raising enrollment fees and imposing restrictions on the military's health care program, known as TRICARE.
It's a "Bipartisan" screwjob so it's OK then right?

We are seeing it as we write these replies. Obama ran on a very generic platform of "Hope and change" in 2008. He was overwhelmed with just repairing the damage and squeeking in some health care reform we call Obamacare.

This election Obama was very specific on what he would do if elected. America thought about it and re elected him and now expect him to stand firm on his promise to make the wealthy pay up.

Now he does not have to "play ball" with the GOP. He has nothing to lose to stand his ground on taxing the wealthy so they help with the deficit and allow the middle class and lower income group to still pay lower taxes and spend what little disposable money they have directly into the economy.

Obama won the war in Iraq, killed bin Laden and will get us out of Afghanistan in 2014

All things Bush could not accomplish
