“Going on a bit of a rant here....This is probably going to upset some people, but my GOD does this need to be said...

I'm a woman and a human being and as both of those things - I'm disappointed in so many people who think that "not being a fan" of someone means you're entitled to crap all over them...

I want to remind everyone of something.

Children are watching and hearing the complaints about Taylor Swift sitting at a football game, being happy, and cheering for a man she loves in what appears to be a very loving, respectful relationship.

They're watching a woman being judged for literally just existing and taking up space happily.

And you know what...?

Who even cares that she's a woman who has won 324 awards?

Who cares that she brought 5 BILLION dollars in consumer spending and boosted the economy so significantly, that country leaders beg for her to play there?

Who cares that there are over 20 college courses about her skill as an artist, lyricist, and musician - including at Harvard, Stanford & UC Berkeley?

Who freaking cares that Taylor quietly donates mass amounts of money to local food banks in every town she plays in?
AND DON'T FORGET..

Who CARES AT ALL that she was sexually assaulted by a radio DJ, and then got him fired? That when he sued HER for defamation, she counter sued for a symbolic $1... in a court case that took two years for her to win - just to show women that fighting for what's right has no price tag & to never be silent in the face of oppression.

Oh wait. EVERYONE SHOULD CARE.

Because daughters, nieces, and nephews are watching and hearing the mouths being run off.

And they're seeing the world hate a woman who does so much good, simply because she exists in their line of sight.

Do. BETTER.

Teach boys to respect women. Teach girls that as women - they are allowed to take up space.

Fix it. Become aware of your words.

Because we have the ability and obligation to fight for the future of our children with simple moments.

And we need to consciously choose to be better for them.”

I hope Kelce treats her better than he treats his coach.

I played football. I was studying journalism and communications.

I wouldn't have quit wrestling if they only had 2 practices a day.

Also, my parents weren't the type to give me $100 a month for spending money. So I needed a job. They don't realize them being cheap is why I quit wrestling. And seeing how much they have now, they could have afforded it. I never thought that it was their fault I quit but my brother pointed it out to me years ago. They were so proud I was wresting in college. But not so proud they'd fork over $100 a month. To be honest, that's $1200 a year. That was a lot of money back then.

My parents were super cheap. They acted like they didn't have money. Today they have about $800K in wealth if you include their home.

They did the best they could. And remember, wrestling already got me into college. So there was no penalty for quitting. I almost went to a private school that cost double. But I would have got a half scholarship. I asked them what if I decide I don't want to wrestle anymore and they said I'd have to pay the full price. At the school i went to they gave me $1500 a year. It cost $5000. So I just lost $1500. But remember, that's only $125 a month. 3 practices a day. 6 hours of practice a day? What is that a day $4??? Fuck that.

There are many Progressive voters who felt that. To be something of a movement that is hope and change and fundamental change and all of that, you have to live like it. Progs are not promoting pure capitalism and layers of living that come with it. They are promoting socialism. Pure socialism is everyone live near the same. And that is what makes them hypocrites. Martha's Vineyard is pure 100% proof. No middle class and rich Prog dominated areas will accept low-income housing in their areas. If an African American moves into once ethnic white neighborhoods, there are many people who are Progs who get the hell out of them. Fast enough where they are a good reason the neighborhood changes. So, there must be some benefit of some kind coming to them for voting in that manner.
