Do you believe the call would have been made had she not fouled? If so, that would be the cynic in you. However, there is no cynicism called for unless you think she fouled purposely which would have been counter-productive to her team.

What I was referring to is that there is often more going on in a big time game like that. Like the desire of the networks for an Iowa/South Carolina final. They got millions more eyeballs on that game than they would have with UConn.

True. The only reason I watched any of the UConn/Iowa game was to see Caitlin Clark. I wanted to see what all the hype was about. TBH, I only watched the last 4 minutes or so, but I wasn't particularly impressed with what I saw from Iowa.
