Unemployment is 15% less than the US and GDP growth last year was 35% greater plus free college tuition and healthcare. The Swedish Krona has risen 45% against the dollar in the last 2 years. I can see why some might prefer Sweden.

You can not take the example of a tiny Nation Like Sweden. Where most of the people live in a few Large Cities, and expect to just put it to work here in the US and have it work as well. Not to mention the fact that even on that small scale, Sweden does have some long term Issues with it's Social programs relating to sustainability. Like Many other European Socialist Democracies they are going to have no choice but to Import Immigrants to support their aging population and low Birth Rates.

I believe in taxation to a point. I believe in a flat tax. EVERYONE pays the same. I don't give a shit if you only have a dollar...the government will get its cut, Its % of that dollar.

Again, workers are not forced to work anywhere...they are free to leave and get a different job. They are being paid to do a job, if they dont like what they are being paid they are free to leave.
