92 Percent of Americans Want European Socialism

Are they getting paid? Oh my, yes they are!

They are more then welcome to leave a job they do not think is paying them enough. They are more then welcome to leave a job that they feel is treating them unfairly. [/COLOR]

Obviously, you do not live in reality. Yes, people are free to move, but do they? Families do not just uproot and leave.

Prices and wages are sticky. However, I assumed that you have an extreme aversion to Keynesian economics and believe that wages are very flexible.

Stop viewing the world in 2-D.

LOL, yes people are free to move if they want to. And yes you are free to uproot yourself and your family...any time you want.

Do try and keep up with your freedoms.

I have an aversion for people telling others how to run their businesses. I have an aversion to people who covet what other people have. I have an aversion to thieves. I have an aversion for people who want something for nothing.

Thievery is producing more, but not getting paid more. Instead, your boss cashes in on the economic rents.

You support this current paradigm. I do not.

I'll take the founding fathers over the circus we have going on now.....any day of the week.

I do also. I'll takes Paine's view of geolibertarianism over the current view of corporate and crony capitalism.

I also believe that we should stop supporting welfare. Let states take care of themselves. However, this would require that Conservative states stop receiving funds from Liberal states.

I say get lost and good riddance. By all means take back your state's right. I am all for succession, if you don't like living here.

I highly doubt that 92% of Americans want European socialism, you can word questions in a survey to guide people towards a particular answer and thus skew the results. You can also restate the results in any fashion you choose to support your own conclusions, which is what happened in this case.

Obviously, you can word questions to guide a particular answer, such as believing that European countries are socialist.

The only socialism going on in Europe is Mondragon in the Basque region of Spain. Before that, it was Tito's Yugoslavia.

However, dumbass Americans think Europe is this vast reservoir of socialism, when it is not.

And I have an aversion to people that expect to be rewarded for poor decisions they make 'just because' they happen to be citizens, then make it a lifestyle at the expense of others.

I agree with you. I think there is something wrong with the American System that conditions and condones these lifestyles.

However, I think these examples are few and not the cause in decline of American exceptionalism.

There are other forces happening.

Some love to misinformed and even deny the real meanings of words.

And yet you claim that 92% of Americans want European socialism? Even though they don't know what it is? And we should take that survey seriously?

What I'm seeing over in Europe is the absolute failure of democratic socialism, after about 60 years of trying to make it work. They have too many takers and not enough makers, and now reality is catching up with them. And here we are trying to go down that rathole as they're climbing out of it. I gotta tell you, I'm worried all to hell about the direction this country is moving in.

Stop being a dishonest. Where did I ever claim that 92% of Americans want European socialism.

I don't believe this. I think many Americans are fucking ignorant.

All I did was respond to a thread.

I agree that is a problem, but however these "rats" didn't cause our economic crises, did they? International bankers with their views that making derivative trading opaque did.

You can come back to reality whenever you'd like.

It's the title of the thread, I thought you were defending it.

No question, we got a lot of ignorant people out there.

I think there were a whole lot of people who should share in the blame for the economic mess, but I will say that Obama's policies are not leading us out of the mess as well as they might. Trying to emulate the european economic model seems foolish, especially after we're seeing the trouble they're in.

And as seeing that the EU has reversed course. Perhaps Obama wants us to be another Greece?

Errr...uhmmmm...your thread title?

Really? I posted this thread.

You are a lying motherfukcing, who doesn't even realize that he lying.

OK so the TITLE isn't yours...but it should have been...

But you are a thief. You cannot escape the fact that as workers become more productive over the last 3 decades, they have seen stagnant incomes.

Productivity has been captured by the uber rich through lobbying and making policies that benefits them at the expense of everyone else.

Its called legalized plunder.

Your words I belive? Explain.

YOU
