92 Percent of Americans Want European Socialism

I don't blame most Americans for hating the fact that the rich have captured most of the productivity gains during the last three decades.

Yet, Republicans cheer lead this shit.

There was an interesting study that came out in 2007 which you might find interesting:

The media often report that U.S. income inequality has increased steadily in recent decades. Pundits and policymakers have decried the apparent rise in the share of national income going to those at the top. But has inequality really increased? In a recent book, Income and Wealth, and new Cato study, Alan Reynolds takes a close look at the data on incomes and finds serious flaws in the way those data are being used to track trends over time. He will discuss why he believes that there is little evidence that U.S. income inequality has increased, at least since the late 1980s.

And there's a real material difference when the Democrats are in office?

Absolutely not. Democrats, including Obama, are corporate whores also, but lets remember who pulled us in that direction.

Dems don't cheer lead this shit. They might be hypocrites about it, but they don't cheer lead it.

True, Cato was founded in 1977 by Edward H. Crane and Charles Koch. However, they've stayed true to their libertarian roots. I get paid more than their CEO.

Is that why they deny GW? Because they are "true" to their libertarian roots or because they feel that their worldview is threatened and are in denial?

As a side question, why was Rothbard forced out of CATO?

Cato is biased bullshit.

You would never accept a study by a corresponding left site.

I have neevr heard them(Koch Corporation) speak out against the unPatriot Act, New London vs Kelo, spending going to Israel or other issues that should be at the top of Libertarians list. It seems to they are spending a lot of their money and time suppressing workers rights. They are all only for corporation rights which seems hypocritical since they are on government welfare.

Would Sweden take those 92 percent?

They will probably only take people with blond hair and great bodies. I am fairly certain that will fall below 92% of the US population.

That may be what Sweden used to look like. This is Sweden today:

Its a free country and anyone can leave any time they want if they don't like it here.

I am not part of that 92%. I would not have wealth re-distributed. I am no thief. I don't want to steal what belongs someone else.
