75 years ago today: WWII begins

You will blame anyone but the object of your misguided hero worship.

Guess that is why I would recommend reading an anti FDR book like By Order of the President. It's my hero worship of FDR.

You're transparent enough to read the newspaper through. Clumsy try.
Alright smart ass, if you want people to understand your viewpoint, what would your recommended reading material be. I have posted a very well known work that is by many historians to be the most accurate and complete work on FDR and Japanese internment camps. It is anti FDR and of course highly critical of him in this area and topic. So, what do you have?

September 1st, 1939 two socialist countries invaded Poland. Nazi Germany and Soviet Union. Only conservative nation in the war Great Britain under Churchill.[/QUOTE
.

See the difference.

Geez, I called him out for being a dumb ass for NOT KNOWING what the 75th Anniversary was. He thinks Poland was invaded by Russia 75 years ago today. The NAZI being socialist is age old classical stupidity. This just shows that Bush92 doesn't comprehend the fundamental basics of even the major details of how the war started.

Here Camp...educate your fucking self before you start calling people "dumb ass." It's only 21 seconds.

What does this have to do with your claim that Poland was invaded by two fascist states on today's anniversary?

I said Poland was invaded by two SOCIALIST states. And it was.

That is not what you said. Now you are being a liar.

Go back and read my post dummy.

You are purposefully deleting the date.

There is no required reading list, moron. Read everything you can from every source you can and then use reasoned judgment to reach conclusions that are reasonably objective. There's no mystery to it. I have dozens of texts on various periods of history. I do not expand my library according to agenda, but rather interest and utility. You have firmly established here that you are stuck on hero worship to the point of illogic. It doesn't matter what you read if you can't take the dead man's balls out of your mouth.

Well now your just showing yourself to be a crude faker and not a historian buff or academically minded person at all.

So you are basically saying in a crude way that you are a know it all while at the same time you admit to limiting and restricting your learning to what meets your to the dotting of the i's and the crossing of the t's. See how those two things are opposite? Think hard. You are a know it all, but refuse to learn anything new. That means you can not possibly know it all. You have no new knowledge. Your the one that is the moron because you refuse to learn from new concepts and discoveries.

You are a know it all, but refuse to learn anything new.

I never said either of those two things. You are growing very desperate, it seems. That, or you are now 6-7 beers into a 12-pack.

FDR caught with no strategy....wha?

I recall that day...put a libturd in my diaper I was so excited.

Just when I think that a thread is self-explanatory enough for people to know that there is no reason to flame, sure enough, some asshole comes along and flames just for the purpose of flaming.

deltex1, you just stamped on the memory of millions of people who perished in a horrible war.

you're just upset because your dear leader has no strategy...

Can we agree:

-FDR was more ready for U.S. involvement in WWII than the general population?

-The Japanese internment here was a terrible mistake.

My remembrance to all American soldiers who lost their lives in French, Italian, Asian and other WWII theaters.

My remembrance to all Indian soldiers who lost their lives in Baltic, Italian, Turkish, African and Asian WWII theaters.

Finally my remembrance to all the heroes of the World War II.

Yepp, that's pretty much what this thread was for, before some trolls came along. A rememberance: On this day in history kind of thing.

I figured it was a place for me to offer my remembrance and reflect on what happened during the WWII. It was certainly a dark chapter in the human history. But we also saw many heroes who did the right thing amid utter hopelessness.

I have no interest in any agenda other than historical truth and justice. Hero worship doesn't fit in there.

No need for worship; FDR was no supreme being, simply the man for the time.....or actually, perhaps others would have risen to the job? We will not know; and as for the hatred of him, stating "he soiled" the office, did you live in the times? I listen to those that did.

To attempt to comfort yourself by claiming the Internment camps are the fault of FDR alone is innocent to a fault. After 9/11/01, the US saw a few Muslims killed for no other reason than that they WERE Muslims; those that wanted to profit off the tragedy DID. There is no other explanation for the invasion of Iraq, unheard of in US history.*

The bias against Muslims continues today, some who post claim all Muslims are as rabid animals, and also pretend the Crusades were in response to unspecified Muslims atrocities, obviously, those individuals know little of history. Pretending the Crusade atrocities happened because of Muslims is bizarre; and flies in the face of recorded history.

Humans are both subject to fear, and exclusion of imaginary, and conjured 'threats'. Are all Germans Nazis? No, again, a period in history, which by study, the background and circumstances which lead to Hitler gaining power are learned.

Now, those FREEDOM fries are rarely spoken of....when the Bush & Cheney were turning public opinion in favor of a unnecessary, costly, and deadly invasion, the sheep bleated on cue, the fear of ....MUSLIMS again became an issue and the public was sold lies about ......*GASP* NUCLEAR ATTACK. Even I thought Saddam must pose at least some slight danger to the USA, 11 years later it is a fact he had -0-. Many thousands of human lives, and 2 trillion in debt later......

And of course the fact Congress voted for action on the matter is twisted into Congress approving a war that lasted eight years, lowered the US in world influence...hey...Cheney made MILLIONS, so for him it was "worth it"...

*The Bush kids used to try "the US invaded Germany" crapola, most probably do not know Germany declared war on the US.

this thread isn't about Bush or Iraq, but when confronted with the truth about FDR you revert back to your skewed view of the circumstances involved in the war on terror. Stick to the topic FDR is part of WWII

Who did the NAZI's side with when push came to shove in Spain?

Wait, wasn't it the NATIONALISTS? A/K/A Spanish Fascists, against the Republican form of government...

Brings to mind "Looking Back on the Spanish War".
What's this have to do with Nazi Germany being a socialist state?

Nazi Germany was not, check any history book, National socialism is only an English intepretation of a German word; and is not related to Marxism, most 10th graders should know that.
Nazi Germany was socialist. Left wing had to prop them up as conservatives so the evil would sit on the right.
