Why teachers don't want the Bible studied in school.

It has nothing to do with the so-called separation of church and state as the schools don't represent the state in the sense of making laws. They object because they fear that some students might take the Bible seriously which would upset their worldview, especially regarding the teaching of the ToE. They also fear that a force other than their own would unduly influence the students thinking and behavior. IOW, they see the Bible as a competitor and a threat to their authority. And in fact, it is. :omg:
But they have no problem watching kids listen to rappers sing about shooting police and beating up their hoes.

Funny that.

It is no threat, and it is unnecessary. If you want Bible study, go to church and study the Bible.

I'd rather students in school learn the scientific method instead of fairy tales from a cargo cult.
BS.

Schools would never let this be taught, for example

The scientific method has never produced or observed non life coming to life, yet students are indoctrinated to think just that every day of the year.

Untrue:

Bible classes are offered in public schools but are strictly regulated by the First Amendment. They must be taught objectively as secular, academic electives (focusing on history and literature), or held off-campus during the school day via programs like LifeWise Academy or Bible2School. It is called free will, ever hear of it?
Not when it comes to taking the Biden vaccine or paying taxes or anything else the Left wants you do to.

Free will only applies to wanting to take illicit drugs or have illicit sex or gamble your life away or killing your unborn child it seems.

Don't you pay taxes? If you don't, it matters not who is president; the IRS will come after you. The left or right does not control my mind or my household, I do..I did not take a vaccine during Biden's time, so I have no idea what you mean.

Religion is a free will entity also.

Not enough kids go to church. However, most go to school.

School: The place where important things are taught or learned.

Most senior HS students have electives to choose from. Bible Survey could be one of them.

Exactly. I studied many subjects just for the grade. I had little interest in them otherwise.

Schools do have Bible classes. When will they start teaching the Quran, the Torah, or the Dhammapada

Maybe some other religions are surveyed. Church schools like the Lutherans and RCC teach religion as part of the curriculum.

15th post
All religions or just one or two?
Most can be surveyed in a short time. The point is to incorporate the knowledge of our religion into our history. Leaving it out leaves a pretty big hole in our historical knowledge. Try studying black history without the 'black church'.
