Saxons that ended up in England came from Germany, the Netherlands etc. They were not Britons. WASP is a term that is almost never used in the USA. It's really just a reference to people of overall British ancesty that settled the colonies and the USA. Distinct from lets say Catholics from Ireland, Germany, Poland, Italy etc. WASPs generally were better educated and wealthier that other Euro tribes. It's pretty meaningless today.
