Zone1 Where does it say in the Bible only adults can be baptized?

T]he spot chosen for the garden of Eden was Jackson County, in the State of Missouri, where Independence now stands; it was occupied in the morn of creation by Adam and his associates who came with him for the express purpose of peopling this earth.[6]

can't be true

Missouri is very cold in the wintertime

Original sin is very real. You see it in the selfish behavior of otherwise "cute" children.. how they fight over toys and etc... how they demand to have their way and throw a tantrum and try to manipulate their parents.. etc..

I have no idea what part of the Adam and Eve story is literal and what may be allegorical, but we can all see w/ our own eyes just how FALLEN mankind is.

Anyone who can't see that hasn't watched much news..
Age of accountability comes to mind

Baptism is not for babies. End of story.

Baby dedication, however, IS biblical.

Jesus was dedicated a baby, and water baptized as an adult. He taught by example.

How does an infant who incapable of repentance repent for a sin it didn't commit?
How does anyone repent for a sin s/he didn't commit? There was a time in the early Church that people decided no one could repent of a sin they had not yet committed...so they waited until their deathbed to be baptized so that all sins were forgiven.

Next, when was Christ baptized--At the beginning of his ministry? In the middle of it? At the end?

The Catholic faith has referred to Baptism as a Sacrament of Initiation into the Body of Christ. Adam and Eve represent the sin of turning away from God. Baptism/Christ is the spiritual reality of turning instead to God. Do we want new life to be guided in the way of Adam and Eve (the ways of the world) or from the beginning do we want our children to be guided in the ways of Christ? When following Christ, do we wait for someplace in the middle as some do today, do we wait until the end as some did in times past? Or do we follow Christ and baptize at the beginning of one's life in the Body of Christ? Catholics choose the beginning.

You don't get to dictate baptism. Why are you so keen to make Catholics wrong? It's their belief and their tradition. Really, none of your business.

I follow God's law I am a member of the LDS and we are the only true church though I believe anyone that honestly believes in God and accepts Jesus is saved.
So you don't plant two crops in one field or wear garments made of two kinds of cloth. Do you kill sassy, disrespectful children?

And neither does any other person including popes, priests or any church. The scriptures is our foundation, not men in robes.

It's not just Catholics who are wrong about it. There are some Protestant denominations that also do infant baptism and they should be corrected too. Again, what matters is what the bible and Jesus teaches, and infant baptism is unbiblical. Infant dedication is biblical.

Edit to add: And yes, it IS all of our business when certain churches are misleading millions of people in regard to the most important topic of all, salvation. I've personally known Catholics who think they are saved simply because they were baptized as babies. My Catholic cousin who I talked to about it did not understand what it means to be born again, or the necessity of it. She thought she was fine simply because she was baptized as a baby, even though she wasn't following Jesus and was at best a lukewarm, nominal Catholic.

The gospels were written by men. Deuteronomy and Leviticus were written by men.
